You can see the hurt in her eyes when she talks about her ex husband. But Im glad she said that they split amicably and there was no nastiness, not everyone can say their ex is a good person.

That's one of the most moving and funny things I've ever heard, Sarah. You're amazing. The thing that always comes across to me is your fantastic relationship with your family. Ah the super power of comedians being shown off...the ability to take you from laughing to suddenly ripping your heart out, showing it do you, making you see something about you had missed and then putting it back in, giving you a kiss on the cheek and you feel oh so much better for it.

An ex of mine called me his shining light, his princess...apparently those are lines he uses often...usually before he's started beating whichever female he's conned up regularly. So beware if you're ever called it, if something is too good to be true...it probably is!
Is it such a bad thing though, he still saw it and thought of you, still wrote it out for you and gifted it to you. He found his feelings in a poems words. What a good new fella too, giving her sweet reassurance even though it's about her ex!
He should have told her he did not write it tho. There is a difference between "made me think of you" and "I wrote this about you". A difference he was aware of, since he bothered lying about it.
