I don't know what it is, but the heavy bands out of the New York scene from the late 70's through about 85' just encapsulate what music should sound like to me. You guys just did it right, and continue to do so.
Great channel , NWOBHM is my favorite but I like to see the USPM explored more fully , would love to see something on PNW metal like Culprit or Crysys , your play by plays of music videos is always fun
There are a lot of good bands with a small output who are mysterious it would take more work but I’d love to hear the stories behind the bands on a regional comp. Something that might be easier to get info on though could be the story of a label like Shrapnel or Metalworks or Azra, just ideas, cheers
Sadly Metal music is littered with bands and artists that never got their moment in the spotlight and Jack Starr is certainly one of them. This guy can play and many, many more Metal Heads should be aware of him and his music. I also echo some of the comments from fellow posters in saying that later day Burning Starr is superior to the initial offerings. The over arching Power Metal sound is writ large across the last three albums and they are easily as good as those issued from bands such as Primal Fear and Hammerfall. Lastly, yet another superb Metal history form Metal School. These videos just keep getting better and better! Can you do the mighty Grave Digger soon please!🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
1987, Frank Vestry did a side project of a 4 Track Demo with his own band called Devias. That Demo has to be one of the most underrated "albums" out there. It's a shame it didn't blow up. Could been huge just like Winger or Giant. You name it!

thanks Black Cat Slash, glad you are digging Burning Starr and Riot , American metal lives on
@@stratluvr Wow. You're like royalty man! Thanks! I once heard someone say, "Hey, hey, hey, rock and roll is the American way!" Thank you for being as talented as you are and sharing it with everyone. New York American metal is my personal favorite type of metal. I don't know what it is, but the heavy bands out of the New York scene from the late 70's through about 85' just encapsulate what music should sound like to me. You guys just did it right, and continue to do so.
@@blackcatslash3314 thanks for the kind words, Metal On
Great channel , NWOBHM is my favorite but I like to see the USPM explored more fully , would love to see something on PNW metal like Culprit or Crysys , your play by plays of music videos is always fun

There are a lot of good bands with a small output who are mysterious it would take more work but I’d love to hear the stories behind the bands on a regional comp. Something that might be easier to get info on though could be the story of a label like Shrapnel or Metalworks or Azra, just ideas, cheers
Man this man can really play
thanks Ruben , appreciate the kind words
Ooh yeah Grave Digger would be pretty cool. I’m a big fan of Heavy Metal Breakdown
Matal school and I found the hills have eyes and poked them out.
No matter who plays it as long is they play it we will listen 👂 and like 🗿🎸🙂🥁🇺🇲😎🎶
1987, Frank Vestry did a side project of a 4 Track Demo with his own band called Devias. That Demo has to be one of the most underrated "albums" out there. It's a shame it didn't blow up. Could been huge just like Winger or Giant. You name it!
Awesome. ... ......
