I don’t care what happened in that emotional time; big sad transitions can be messy. In Taylor’s dating years songs she has cataloged the dating experience in a personal yet everyman way and that is awesome. It’s the everyman element that makes it art. But comments about Joe, from whomever, that departs from art, that’s just destructive. And fans have been making them.
