Great video! Sometimes I get busy and can't watch UA-cam and then I just sit and binge all the vids of yours I missed! Your whole vibe makes you my fav for sure
This looks like such an amazing day!! So sorry I couldn’t join you 😭 love a bit of history and background you gave. Also you and Gretchen look so cute!!! 💖💖💖
Liz I live in California in Orange County and just found ur video.. Man, They informative about Japan And all the great places u eat at..... I have question: were you in the Jet Program?
I grew up in Japan in the 70's at Tachikawa AFB. I remember those brutal humid summers. To see you perspire like that, it must be just awful. But at the end of the night, good friends, good food and enough alcohol makes you forget the heat. Such a fun video!
This is the best kind of day. No major plan. Checking out a quiet place full of culture and history. In my 3 years there I regret missing the chance to see a sumo tournament much less check out the sumo museum. Things to remember for my future return. Pocari Sweat takes me back. Also love CC Lemon!
This is one of my favorite parts of Tokyo. While I was there I got to visit the sumo museum and then I got taiko lessons a few blocks away, one of my favorite Japan memories for sure
I did something kind of similar. My school is opening a new campus so we went to go look around the area to see where we could go out to eat and what shops were around. It was hot outside, but I had a lot of fun and it was nice to just walk in a new area, that isn't a tourist area, without a plan.
8:53 It's important to note that although many people know only about the controversy of the Yasukuni Shrine and of the convicted 14 war criminals(interestingly just convicted for "waging a war") More important than that, there are 2,466,532 Japanese men, women and children who lost their lives in the war laid to rest there. On top of that there is a memorial there for Koreans and Tawinese who fought on behalf of Japan, as well as another memorial for anyone regardless of nationality who lost their lives in the terrible war. It's sad when you have other youtubers treat the shrine as a kind of tourist spot to visit for pictures and videos or because of the "controversy". The shrine is sacred ground and deserves the utmost respect and prayers for the millions of souls resting there.
Omg Chanko sooo hearty and good in winter! I honestly thought you were gonna go for that! :p Omgosh this looks like so much fun. +10 to non-touristy spots :D
Yeah I almost wrote “..but you probably can’t. :( Hooray for allergies” I’m super glad there was amazing looking stuff you could eat there though! Fish okay for you?
Edo Noren is so amazing .....kelly mam you always surprise us with new wonderful people and perfect unbelievable places ,food ,sumo , monuments etc .....Kelly mam you are ultimate girl 🌺🌻💐🥀
I just pushed the subscribe button. Your vids are kinda interesting to know some of Japan through your eyes, your activities and your speeches. I'm gonna visit Tokyo soon. You help me a lot to know various things in Japan, although I'm a native Japanese.
Awww this is such a cute and wholesome day vlog. I would love to see you and ryuji go on a staycation somewhere in japan for like a weekend or something :) maybe like a couple hours out from tokyo? Love from Australia 💖
Good morning from San Diego. I just got back from Japan so I totally know the heat and humidity evident in this episode. Made me want to stay indoors in A/C all day. Kudos for getting out there and exploring. And those mosquitoes leave big welts that itches for days.
I recently moved to Japan from the states (husband in the military) and while I acknowledge my experience is different from yours, your videos help me appreciate the beautiful opportunity my husband and I have been given being stationed in this mesmerizing country. I have been binging your videos and I appreciate your honesty and vulnerability. You inspire me and give me courage to go out and explore. Wishing you the best 😘😘 Love from Yokosuka. Any recommendations for a romantic weekend getaway? Our anniversary is coming up
I miss Japan so much, hoping to move there in a few years time. Love watching your videos! Last time I went we stumbled upon Odaiba beach by accident, such a lovely place to relax and watch the sunset :)
I don't know if you meant Edo-Tokyo museum by "Edo museum" but if you have the opportunity to go visit the Edo-Tokyo museum east of tokyo you should! 😁
When that dude picked his wedgie, I felt that... On a lighter note. Thank you so much for creating great content!! Always love and look forward to your videos!!
Ahh, I just love your videos! I dream of living in japan for college and living there after that, but It just sometimes seems so complicated and The classes I want are in Japanese and I worry that My Japanese Will lack at those moments, and ughhh I just always worry... But seeing your videos give me hope!
I'm having a moment about that New Zealand Cafe 😅 (being a Kiwi and all 😊) Have been thoroughly enjoying your content since stumbling across your channel at the beginning of the year. Keep up the amazing vids Kelly, always look forward to seeing what you create
Hehe the sumo wrestlers with the luggage reminds of how I wanna walk after a long flight as a flight attendant previously. HAHAHA AHHH you just make me miss going to Japan so so much!!!
I know this is like super cliche but can you go to any like pet cafes? Not sure if you have already but I love the idea of pet cafes and would love to see you go to one. Love the video as always, loved the new opening part.
I know this is probably out of place but please don't film in places they ask you not to. And definitely don't put it on the internet. I feel that it's a little disrespectful. I love watching you videos tho! My husband and I really wanna go to Japan! By watching your content we will be able to see where we want to go!
What is your temperature there? It’s been the 6th day straight of 103* here in Houston Texas. Humidity over 50% so the “feels like” temp has been over 114*. Hate it!
Can you visit my old stomping ground Yokohama? I lived there from 1992-2002. I moved to Japan three weeks after graduating from college and never looked back. Now I'm about four years away from retiring from the career I chose in the U.S. and want to retire in Japan. I'm much older now and it will be interesting to see how my outlook has changed since spending my formative years there. Next time I visit Japan I'd love to have a beer with Ryuji. Is that weird?
I’m so happy to see you smile and have a good time hun...it’s been long awaited for you. Happy life, happy love does it every time. ;)
Great video! Sometimes I get busy and can't watch UA-cam and then I just sit and binge all the vids of yours I missed! Your whole vibe makes you my fav for sure

Awww we wish you were there too!
I'm kinda glad you stayed in Japan. I wasn't sure if you would when you got engaged. Love to see you enjoying life.

Lol! I'm happy to find that I'm not the only female who says, "I'm sweating my balls off" 🤣
Next to that samurai you look so small, Kelly, but I for one love you for it. 💖
You mean sumo? 😆
@@KellyMorita omg, yes, of course. I must come across as a complete simpleton, whereas I'm actually totally obsessed by all things Japanese . . .
How are u guys doin with everything goin on?
I like the sumo place a lot
Taking 100 photos at an underpass says a lot for the area:) I am sure there was a reason....
It was a very unique place!
💜💙
You look much more happier now than your videos from a few months back. I'm glad you found Ryuji for yourself. You're glowing! 😊🌠
This is drunk kelly😁😁😁 u r really very much drunk at the end portion of the video and it was very funny 😅😅
Yes, I can definitely understand how it would be a controversial place, FOR SURE!
Liz you girl friend is adorable
More drunk kelly ! Hehehe
I’m a happy drunk
kelly your friend really cute
"I'm sweating my balls off. And I don't have balls!"
Well, not anymore. Get out of the heat, girl!
How's your fiance connected to that girl's channel?
They're written together in the description
Doesn't having long hair bother you in this heat? I'd like to see you wear a ponytail.
Love the wedgie pick at 7:01
Shannon Hall lol same.
日本語字幕ほしいです!
Love the video... Keep it up. Goal me out also... Godbless
I’d like to see a sumo contest.
Me too!!
