^ All 3D, all real time. I may have needed to play with the camera a little bit to reveal that, but I tried to stay true to the original as much as I could.
What I hate when people mention 3d, is that people assume making it OBVIOUSLY 3d is the end result. But really, the fact is 'all real-time', gives a more polished, unified look to how the world reacts to each other. Keep that camera static and let the world interact with itself. The way the shadows are casted, the way light bounces, etc. I'm tired of the industry relying so much on making 3d obvious isntead of perfecting the aesthetics. I want point and click adventures that stay static but render everything 3d. Camera movement can easily make something look fake. Because natural we want the camera to match the way our head moves. When it moves out of sync, it feels...imperfect (though this effect works best with "found footage" styles). Nonetheless, great work Ravenok. You did what I attempted before UE4, but never had time for when the industry got access. :)

Do you know if any of the guys over at Pencil Test Studios have seen this or what they think of it?
Hey! Thanks!
I tweeted the folks behind the original, some of them from PencilTest. I hope they see it!
This project has been a lot of fun, and great education. Hard at work now, to start a new one, using all of this new knowledge. Hope you pay a visit from time to time :)
Man, I love this game, and like this it looks so good. I have it still, all grainy and with weird random pixels, but working. I wish they would make a remake and release it again. Armikrog was... It wasn't bad, but you know. It's not the same.
it's even more scarier cause it looks soo realistic yet it's in 3D
i really love the way you adapted the claymation style in 3D
This looks insane! Oh my god.
Great work!
This is amazing Sir
Take my money. ALL MY MONEY! It is a dream come true.
now i legit want a remaster
a genuine shame that the full version will ever be complete. it looks utterly stunning
How am i only just now hearing about this project??!?
i wish this remaster to be complete, pls i wanna play this so bad
Justino Fraga Actually a remake, not a remaster :) and yep, me too. Maybe one day.
Are all the development videos gone?
Wow looks really faithful to the original. Would love to see the first-person environments rendered.
My childhood!! That's so great!
