I studied these contents when I was an undergraduate student. And I am studying them for my master's degree again, meaning I've seen quite lots of professors. Mr. Clifford is my hero. I'm taking Freshman Micro Economics along side my son and I couldn't do it without Mr. Clifford. The only thing I don't like is ACDC, I'm 65 so my music is Linda Ronstadt and Jackson Browne and The Allman Brothers Band - but putting up with ACDC is worth it to learn from Mr. Clifford ;)
I absolutely agree - great explanation, back in my german school the teachers were basically narcoleptic pills and i guess still are due to the crusty system but you sir understood how to keep the listener interested that's why you deserve lots of monopolistically competitive kudos for that
This is better than my class in a post graduate course ... or any class in microeconomics that I ever had, thanks for doing this, teachers should go to a teacher school where someone teach them how to teach. It should be engaging fun and fast like Mr cliford!.

Seriously, this man is a lifesaver. PSU online Econ 102 is HARD to grasp and he breaks this down even further for anyone to understand. He is just engaging enough to where it's not overbearing and he's goofy enough so you remember his quirks.

Firms entering the new market will definitely cause the ATC to shift upward as more firms means scarce resources, eventually causing the ATC of Production to rise, hence shift upwards. Furthermore, Demand will not only shift downward but will also become MORE ELASTIC because the product differentiation will be countered due to more firms making similar products or in the EASY WAY increase in substitutes. So D falls and becomes Elastic and ATC rises, hence normal profits in the long run. Talk about External dis-economies of scale also
