Bloody hell.. I thought Lee was great back in the day watching him compete against the super freaky...and his videos make so much sense... Lee was always someone I tried to emulate... I have a similar, shorter body style and can pack on mass/strength like a motherfucker even without drugs.... I always liked to see someone like Lee make it as far as he did... only down side I had is that I have killer chest, back, legs biceps and calves but never could pack on the shoulders and forearms like Lee did... Now watching the videos I have to say Lee makes the most sense and is the most real person I've see in bodybuilding.... I never really needed to compete, hated the dieting part but I was close by personally competing against guys I knew getting ready for shows... I always bigger and stronger than lots of the juice boys at my gyms from going heavy and high volume from an early age (Tom Plats methods worked for me).. but guess I lacked the discipline to get down so low on the body fat in order to compete.I think bodybuilding went all kinds of wrong after the exit of Lee

Hey Sam & Lee I have a question when benching on my powertec I find I can lift 3 plates easy no problem for 5 -8 reps but when in the gym on the smith or bar bell I struggle with 2 plates. Is this a mental block or could I be doing something wrong? thanks guys
Hi Charles, Steve is correct, if the Smith hasn't got a counter weight the bar is 20kgs. Plus leverage point does hold a portion of the weight on the lever arm. Also the weight plates aren't in line with your hands, but more up around your forearms. this gives you an advantage too. It is like comparing dumbbell bench press to barbell bench press. You will bench more on a barbell.

The bar alone can weight up to 10kg-15kg on its own..
