Chamonix France would be a good start, Once that chairlift doors open you have a 10,000 ft drop down to the valley on the north side and further down the valley at les gets you have a world cup course to play around with, Word of warning" Take plenty of spares with you because you will spend all day trying to get a metric nut or bolt for your bike, They also have fully kitted out workshops to hand and transport from Geneva to Chamonix for £30 a pop, Some local runs a small private bus service to help bikers out, I am sure you could find him online...

This might be to much to ask for but I would love to see a video of a breakdown of when your braking and when your switching gears. The gear changing is still something I haven’t got a grasp on. Just a request. Keep up the vids!

welcome to God's country wee man, I hope you enjoyed the southern half of it. if you're visiting North Wales on your way back, make sure you check out either Llandegla, Penmachno or the Marin trail. I see people on here recommending revs, however revs is a full on downhill centre, and considering you jibbed the black trails at bpw you might get a bit of a shock when you get there. I personally love revs and Antur Stiniog in the dry, but I'd give 'em both a miss in the wet.

Hi Andy another brilliant vid and place, just need some advice what hope brakes do you have because I’m debating between the hope e4 or wether to spend a little extra on the v4 with 203 rotor up front and 180 on rear would be much appreciated
I have hope e4 with 203 both ends and they are more than powerful enough for trail riding. They coped really well last weekend riding the world cup track in fort william and work well on my usual rides around innerleithen. go for the metallic hoses though, the plastic ones aren't particularly durable.

With being a joiner do you not have problems with your knees? When I use to work on site, thank Christ I don’t anymore cos it’s shit, all the joiners/sparks/painters/everyone use to kneel on their knees all the time
