Thank you for this find Mansin & Moz, think this is to me the best tune on Societas X & I'd been down so many rabbit holes in search off it I'd about given up wondering if it was a lost tune or session by the brothers. Thank you once again Moz your the man 🧡
@@HerrFOAD Mansin is the one who found it. I found the artist and he checked out the LP that I didn't check 100%. I had a feeling it was on the other one.
@@brianchatton4205 Only that I really enjoy this track and would like to put it in my library! When I'm not on the computer I don't listen to a lot of music on YT
I feel like the original tape was a slight remix; because different instruments kick in at the beginning. And is it just me, or does this version sound more deteriorated than the original tape found?
I found this on soulseek back then. The instruments in the beginning are from Soul City Orchestra - Hot Day in Pimba. BoC took the song directly from a mix by vinylfactory.
@@stomcode its "Echus" but the phase is inverted and its pitched up an octave, someone already discovered it on twoism a long time ago but because it isn't the full unreleased studio version of echus and is just a loop nobody cared
@@Mansin My friend, I also am not a lover of drum machines. Please understand that these albums were put together on a shoestring budget. All instruments on all tracks from this album I played myself and drums are not the easiest instrument to play. Thanks for your kind attention. cheers
@@brianchatton4205 Oh, I don't have anything against drum machines. I think it is rare to hear a composition like this which just makes it more interesting. In my previous comment I was simply reacting to the fact that UA-cam thinks this is an entirely different song. By the way, are the quiet flutes coming from a mellotron or something else?
Amazing. I’m so glad this was solved!
Enjoy the ride fellas!

@@mortram I hadn't planned anything like that but maybe I'll put a few tracks like Mood in Motion together on some form of release format, EP, LP etc

That mix had both of those tracks.

@@Mansin Okay! I understand!
Next stop: That MBV-like-shogaze song. I think that may have been a somthing from Play By Number.
from societas x? what track number can you send my the youtube link

Aaand youtube has decided it's a U2 song. :/
XD
I wish
7 seconds of a drum machine was enough.
