Camp Faraway Was Dead Center In The Crosshairs Of Hurricane Idalia, Then It Happened.

After spending two days prepping for Hurricane Idalia at #campfaraway, we grabbed essential belongings and evacuated out of "Zone A" which was a mandatory evacuation. We drove back to our home on the west end of the Florida Panhandle and waited for the outcome. Two hours prior to landfall our home was smack dead in the crosshairs of a Cat 3 hurricane that was strengthening into a Cat 4 which would have been certain devastation. And then it went down, and the Big bend area of Florida was hit with a mighty punch from nature which absolutely crushed the east side of Apalachee Bay........here is what happened at #Campfaraway
