Park on vacant ground outside entrance to Ross Lodge on A82, just south of the junction with new A817 Haul Road through Glen Fruin where there is ample space. Walk up to road junction and carefully cross A82 and immediately after entering A817 take the Shemore farm road on north side 2km up to Loch Finlas dam which is crossed and SW up grassy slopes to Craperoch 462m then 2km NW along easy gradient to Balcnock 645m. N then NW to 693m top thence NE round the head of Glen Finlas to Creag an Leinibh 657m from where SE to bealach then E up to Beinn Ruisg 595m. S for 0.5km then SE 1km to Creachan Hill 536m thence SE descent to farm road and back to car 15.6km, 873m ascent, 7.5 hours
