Hi love, we'd use a knife and fork for everything except for the toast. We might also have Tomato Ketchup or 'Brown Sauce' with our breakfast, the most popular brand is HP sauce. You are correct in saying that most Brits would eat this on a weekend, although, those that work in manual labour might eat it more regularly. You did very well here Zoe, well done. 👏❤️

That is a legit English breakfast, the tomato and mushrooms looked great, everything was very well cooked.
Blood pudding and black pudding will be essentially the same thing with some regional differences. I’ve noticed it’s a dish that’s actually cooked all around the world under different names.
As for eating with hands, we will often throw a bunch of items on to the toast (or in a bread morning roll) and eat it with hands.
There are no rules to an English (or Scottish / Irish) breakfast, it’s a selection of traditional items, you make a breakfast plate of the ones you enjoy and cook it to your preference. Everyone has their own take on it.
I noticed you garnished the beans and sausages… very fancy lol. ❤

By even attempting to put black pudding on the plate you've outdone most places which serve it in the UK, a lot of places don't offer it although it's more common in Scotland.
A full English typically costs £4.50-6 although at some nicer cafes it can be £10-15. They're usually eaten by people who do manual labour all day or as a late meal on the weekends to replace both breakfast and lunch.

Massively impressed Zoe - you did an amazing job! I could never eat all that though 🤣 I have one rule…ketchup for back bacon (it has to be smoked back bacon) and HP sauce for eggs and sausages. Whack that bacon inside two pieces of toast, smother in ketchup and apply to face…now you’ve got yourself a bacon butty as well (‘butty’ is another word for sandwich). My Mum always loved to put bits of her full English breakfast between two slices of buttered bread (beans as well!) and eat that at the end. It was always messy and dripping but she loved it. She called it her ‘mucky’ sandwich 🤣

You did a good job obtaining black pudding! I know you said technically it's Korean blood sausage, but it still applies because that's actually what black pudding is really, it's just a type of blood sausage x')

I love a breakfast but toast and beans with butter mixed in the beans (trust me it makes them creamy) is my favourite comfort meal it’s very popular here in Scotland 😌

Back in the day, when people were going out to do hard manual labour in the fields and in early factories, a full english would have been more common to help give the worker the energy he needed to get through the day, especially in the factory job where he wouldn't get another big meal until the evening. Obviously in modern days if you ate one every day you'd probably be big as a house but they're still nice as a special occasion and part of the tradition.
By the way, part of the charm of a full english is mixing and matching the components and flavours! It's always popular to dip the meats and toast in the egg yolk as well.
Very nice full english you made.

DId you have mushrooms? I didn't notice any. Not everyone likes them.
It's good to see your Grandma has a healthy appetite and isn't afraid tosay what she likes/doesn't like.
As an Englishman, I rarely eat a "Full breakfast" because it takes quite a lot of time to prepare. I'm sure your Grandma appreciates your efforts. You did very well! 🙂

This looks really good, very accurate! It's making me hungry (: Most people use smoked bacon with a English breakfast. It's the same kind of back bacon, but it has a smokey taste - I'm not sure if you could find that in South Korea though! We often like to cook the bacon until the fat gets crispy, and I feel wrong if I eat an English breakfast without ketchup!

I think it's common to have tea (or sometimes orange juice) to help cut through the greasiness. In the UK, "tea" pretty much always refers to English breakfast tea, which is a fairly strong black tea, so it stands up well to all those strong flavors. It's also common to have grilled tomatoes as one of the foods, which also helps with the greasiness.
As for the black pudding, 영국남자 recently did a series of videos giving Korean food to English high-schoolers, and they loved the blood sausage and said it's very similar to black pudding, so I'd say you did well there.
