Eachine has a new mini warbird! A P47 thunderbolt! It is a little bigger at 500mm too. Looking forward to seeing a review on it soon. They are hands down my favorite backyard flyers. Great show as always! God bless
I hope this doesn’t sound as bad as I think it does but seeing people with your skill crash planes makes me feel better. Being new to this hobby, I have crashed a lot. It is frustrating and discouraging but seeing it happen to someone with experience from time to time keeps me going.
Yeah makes me feel a bit better to watch Nate crash also lol 😂 Just remember everytime ya crash you LEARN what not to do Yeah it is frustrating and can be a bit costly but ya gotta learn some how lol and crashing is sadly part of the learning curve Never give up ✌️
I had given up for a bit. I crashed two UMX TurBo Timbers but they were able to be repaired. Then I crashed a Carbon Cub S2 quite badly. Beyond repair badly according to the experienced guys at the flying field I go to. Then I saw the video about the Aeroscout that Nate and Abby posted and bought one. Since then my confidence has gone way up. I have 8 flights on that and have progressed to intermediate. That is why I keep coming back to this channel. They are down to earth and own up to not being perfect.

Ive got one of these and it flies really well. totally different than what your experiencing. Dont fly with any wind...

I have it on order. I also have the Minator F-35. I had the same sort of flight characteristics on it. I added 2 pennies and a slightly larger/heavier battery and it flies much better! I've even been able to fly it in some substantial wind. I'm excited about getting this one too. I also have the new Eachine P-47 and F-16 on order 😎

..this cheap little planes thats are very durable are awesome flight trainers as well as being very enjoyable...you can keep them stored in their original boxes..how cool is that.
This is my new favorite beginner parkjet. I have to trim out all planes, even the expensive ones ;-) Once it's trimmed, it flies great! Glad you got it flying well in this video. Fun to watch it go from very bad to good in the review ;-) Have fun and I'll see you in the Air!
As a beginner I would rather spend more money on a plane that responds. You are an experienced pilot and know how to respond quickly to a problem. If I as a beginner was trying to learn on this inexpensive mess it would discourage me from continuing.

Alright. Bought one. Good to have small, med, and large planes. Plowed my UMX A-10 intp the turf today on hand launch. Why didn't I give it full power b4 I tossed it after 30 years of flying? I'm stupid. Thanks again guys. You rock.

Kinda looks like the implementation of it's 'stunt button' has been inverted or something, as I cannot imagine that a downward outside loop was the intention; as you remarked none of these planes with a 'stunt button' will do a downward outside loop, but instead a normal loop, which is much more sensible. So maybe you got a very rare one ;-)

I bought that little guy for my 9 year old for his first plane and have since bought him better planes. He still takes that one out every time we fly and it's had the nose reglued many times lol. We even put fpv on it once lol. We got it for $40 but it was 6 months ago though.
The way this plane handles unconventional landings, and still flies, is a great advert for it. Maybe good for crash-happy beginners :)
That was fun watching you flying that little jet! If you watch the guy on ground control rc he has this little guy all trimmed up in the transmitter and it is flying perfectly!! He actually goes as far as saying it one of the best little planes on the market right now watch his utube channel and see how it actually flys. I'm glad to see you fly and review some of the cheap stuff on the market. True, a lot of it is trash. But occasionally you'll find something that might not be wonderful but still flies well enough to have some great fun. And there are a lot of folks watching that just can't come up with $700+ for some of the really nice larger planes. I really do enjoy your videos.

My buddy has this plane, even with it trimmed out it still wanted to fly on the tail so we taped a penny to the nose and problem solved. I personally wouldn't buy it especially when you can buy the Eachine F-22 Raptor for the same money and have a blast with it.......

I ordered a F-22 Raptor version of this and I’m amped to fly it and get into the hobby! Would a EFL9750 F-15 64mm jet with safe mode be good for my first get to learn to fly on guys?

For the price and extra Batteries Guys thst not a bad airplane, plus whrn you trimmed iy, it flew very well. it might be a decent beginner plane just because it durable, So was there aby wind during the flight,? Dont think I heard you say.
Now your talking Nate, to be able to get interested beginners a complete affordable package. You gotta start somewhere. Although, I would prefer a Piper or a small Biplane in the same package. $99 Biplane package first please.
Around 10:45 looks like something is dangling, I even went back, and it wasn't the wheel I saw. That was something that it still flew without the nose though. That was ironic where it did break 😃

This is a one or two penny jet at the most, that reference is in how many pennies it needs taped to the nose to make it a decent flier.....

We can thank a LOT of trade deals for increased prices as well as COVID changes/shortages. But yeah, lots of trade law has increased stuff and will continue to do so. Really kinda sucks since I don't see manufacturing bouncing back in the short term nor changing material sources.
Makes me want to buy a foam "molder"(?) And just start making planes here in the States! Why does NOONE here in America have the ability to do this??? I feel like there is definitely money to be made!!
Nate, the ability is definitely here in the States. If Boeing can build a full sized 767 35 miles from where I sit now, we can build a foam RC plane. But labor costs. Every penny saved in labor is another penny in corporate pockets. Sad
@@TheRcSaylors I know right?! It really seems like a no-brainer to set up a bit of manufacturing here for such inexpensive toys. Or are we missing some regulations or something that would make it difficult? I know getting molds created is not cheap, but once you have it done...inject and profit. The electronics are another story though as that is often limited by the sourcing of cheap Chinese made ICs. Making ICs here in the USA is quite a bit more expensive, ask Adafruit and SparkFun about that one!
Still I'd rather pay $20 more for one of these RTF jobs and have it all made domestically with good support and part availability.
@@charlesherrmann719 Labor cost is indeed a HUGE problem. We can't just pay someone $1/hr or less to assemble bits and bobs etc like they do in China.
Even China is now realizing the predicament they've gotten themselves in. When they restricted families to having only one child for many years, families would focus heavily on the education of that one and only child to "give them a better life" and avoid the frowned up factory jobs there. What this did was create an educated, only child generation where noone (for maybe a decade or so) was willing to work a low paying, factory job there. Now these companies are forced to pay their employees more and the rest of the world is paying because we don't have the proper networks, machinery, electronics, etc.. and only have one choice for sourcing most of this stuff... at least for the time being. It's all very interesting how this is playing out. I can't imagine it will be sustainable, but I could be wrong. I hope I'm wrong.
