That is true though, Asian POP songs do have rap parts inserted in their songs ( MOST) because it is what Asian fans want, PPOP groups included. It is like when a group release a song without a rap part, they look for it for some reason like something is missing..Melodic rap that is. Based on the feedback of reactors though( local and foreign ) they like the rap part, some have memorized the part already and that includes the fanboys. 😂

I actually don't hate you about the rap part, I mean it's your opinion about that section and you're just being authentic about it, I'm a fan of BINI and I know authentic reactions like these are also helpful with their music making esp if they were just starting at that era, and yeah they have improved a lot now, and are paving their way to the global music scene
About the rap part (not necessarily this one) being "forced" into pop music in general. I remember something being said about B.o.B's rap in Jessie J's Price Tag that it's kind of an evolution pop music that a rap section replaced the instrumental section in a lot of pop music since. Seems to be the case why rap sections are common today. I just wished most was as smooth as that in Price Tag.
But then you are already saying that their voices sound similar when singing and praised it but then complained about it during the rap section and called it generic. I am sorry but I did not quite get that part. Just critiquing as well.
You are the only one who did not like the rap. People who are fans of idol groups are always expecting a rap verse from the group's rap line. I am definitely a big fan of the rap verse breakdown, it is a change of pace before then surprising you with all the high notes from the vocal line. Idol groups are trained in singing, rapping, and dancing which are definitely big aspects of performing as idols. You can not just not expect a rap verse as a fan. If raps are not your thing, then idol music are definitely not for you.
