During BINI's first years they were trying out a lot of songs to see what would be a hit with the masses. That's why Da Coconut Nut is also in English but sounds very Twice, Strings sounds like a song by ITZY or Blackpink, and this Golden Arrow sounds very much like a song from a US or UK girl group. It's only recently when they started singing in Filipino, but in a fresher Filipino way that is bubbly, bubblegum pop, that they finally found their signature sound.
Mention other groups who are versatile as they are, they can do all genres. Were not wrong this time about BINI, they deserve more!

Some of their songs in their Born to Win album have Filipino lyrics such as Na na na, Kinikilig and 8.
I don't know if this is a compliment or not, but I hate it when people compare them to KPOP groups in how they sound because when you can clearly differentiate the sound of KPOP from BINI in the way they sing it, like harmonies and vocal tone, it is completely different from those groups you mention.

It feels weird being a bloom rn because there's so much happening with Bini, I'm not used to this much content being a kpop fan before. Yesterday was the first time they sang solo (covers) 1 by 1 at a small venue. After that mini concert, they had an after party (blooms and bini) and they played some parlour games. Then following morning, blooms saw a few of Bini surfing at a nearby beach. Like... I'm so friggin jealous being an int'l bloom. So yeah, off topic but I just wanted to share.

Same here, Golden Arrow is I think underrated. The vocals for this song really highlights the members and what defines them more is less of visuals but by the quality of the sounds they make.

I noticed that in Golden Arrow, i think this was the song that made full use of their skills especially with their vocal and rap prowess. The verses showed their rich lower registers (highlighted Gwen, Sheena, Stacey and Aiah's alto), the choruses were distributed to their vocally powerful members (Maloi, Colet, Jhoanna and Mikha), the bridge highlighted their rappers with some interesting flows that seems to be their signature (Stacey, Mikha, Aiah and Colet) then the vocalists just popped off on the last chorus (Gwen, Maloi and Jhoanna killing those adlibs while Gwen and Sheena sang the chorus one last time). It was such a treat of a song and I am glad everyone is starting to know how genius of a song Golden Arrow is.

It was my first time watching them live last night during their halftime performance at the Star Magic All-Star Game 2024. They performed 'Karera' and 'Pantropiko'. Also, Mikha played volleyball last night and won Best Setter! The crowd was CRAZY for them!!! Now I regret not buying any tickets for their concert.

It isn't unusual that they sang this in English. We have so many song composed by Filipinos but in English since it is our second language. An example, you can listen to Ben and Ben's song called "Leaves" . it's really a beautiful song. I think you will love it.
