I read something today that said God didn't give you another day for you, he gave you another day because someone needed you. I thought that was powerful. we don't often think like that. myself included.
Man, I'm a depressed 18 year old who has seen it all, nothing surprises me and the struggles of trials are a constant thing as I always feel like nothing and just trash. Reading this gave me hope. I just became closer to God this week and reading this... this made me happy and made me feel needed. God bless you for putting this up. Lord knows how much you helped me. Thank you.
Tonight I was considering ending it. The blade was inches from my wrist when my best friend called. We haven’t spoken in about two months. She told me that she felt called to get in touch with me and when I didn’t respond to her texts she said that she felt something was wrong so she called. My best friend has saved my life. She restored my faith in myself and the world around me tonight. Thank you Jesus for giving me the privilege to get to know and love the amazing young woman that is my best friend. Edit- April 2024: I graduate from college this week. I’ll get to celebrate with my best friend and see her in person for the first time in 5 years at my graduation.

Hi! I've been struggling with this though all this evening and it was painful.But then I came into prayer with God and He remembered me how great is His grace and that Jesus on the cross accepted me as I am. Even if the other people doesn't like me too much, I find my identity in Him who knows me the best and still loves me the most. Just remember that Jesus did not forget you on the cross. He died for you, and one day will be with Him in his glory. Amen!

You know sometimes I get made fun of at school for listening to Christian music (CCM) but times like that I am reminded that at least I am with God, while those who laugh listen to only things that could ruin their minds, I pray that God will help them realize, that the music affects you mentally, spiritually, and emotionally. I have struggled with depression and suicidal thoughts since I was12 years old. I suffer terribly from PPD, after having my 2 son's and having difficulties in my marriage. The past couple weeks have been so stressful and I've seriously contemplated ending it. On my way home, today, I heard this for the first time and had to pull over because I was sobbing so hard. God spoke to me and told me it was going to be ok, I just need to turn to him, again. I opened up to my mom, finally, and she's helping me contact therapists tomorrow. I'm finally giving this up to God instead of trying to do it on my own, like I have for the past 12 years.
I will be praying for you. Glad that you are giving this to God. He is the one that will help you in whatever you need. That is the joy of being able to go to him in prayer whenever you need to, and knowing that he hears you, and that he loves you and cares for you soooo much that he wants you to be in eternity with him! 1 Peter 5:7 Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you.

I waited on this guy back in 2015 at a Walgreens. I told him about my sweet Michael having cancer. The first verse of this song is the conversation we had at my job one night. He came in the week before on a Friday night. A week later he was back. I was down in the dumps trying to process the bomb that had been dropped in my life. BTW, he remembers me. I sent him a message yesterday. He answered back. When I first heard that song it reminded me of the conversation that I had with someone. I looked up that song and saw this guy's picture. It all came back to me.

Ive had chronic pain and migraines for 30 years. Ive tried lots of medications, therapies, procedures and treatments. Some days I feel like giving up. I feel very sad that I cant always join my friends and family for outings and occasions. This song reminds me that God loves me just as I am in this moment. He doesn't want me to give up and has a reason for my existence. It gives me hope. Im gonna hang in there. I have a grandbaby due to be born next summer ❤😊.

I've been struggling with depression, PTSD and suicidal ideation and loneliness. After my wife left me about two months ago, I had planned to end everything. When I feel everything is getting the better of me I exercise. That night I started walking, but, before I prayed and asked God to please give me something. With my headphones in I started walking, and the second song that played was this one. The final verse brought me to my knees (figuratively) and with my head against a light post I cried out to God. Now, I will admit that nothing has been easy ever since that day, but I will tell you that my life was saved that night. God bless everyone that feels like that is their only way out of the pain and suffering. But, give it to God. I can't promise that it will be easy and I still feel the pain and re-live the things I've had to do everyday. But, when it starts to hurt I do my best to give it to God.

" I know that you are calling me tonight, Jesus only you can save my life"....I surrendered to preach years back thinking it was going to be a hallelujah moment...but it was the opposite. I was hurt by people I considered family and that hurt followed me through 2 more church's. I have fought just to stay faithful to God. God has called me to be the one to say the words that someone needs to hear to save their life and this song brought me front and center with God! One day, about three years ago, I was flipping through radio channels, and I heard a song that sounded really good. i'm not sure what it was, but it Saved My Life. That one radio station was called Klove, and I haven't changed it since! But, in ,May of 2014, we moved to Ohio from Tennessee. Where I live in Ohio, Klove isn't there. I just saw you guys Friday in red bluff. For the last year I have rejected God claiming he's not real because he took my dad from me and because my mom was an alcoholic. I didn't even want to go to that concert but my mom made me and her and I both rededicated our life to Christ that night. Thank you guys for bringing my mom and I close again.

I had a tree fall and me two years or so ago and I was a born again christian years ago but was back sliden when the tree fell on me and was I was busted up bad had to be air lifted to a hospital after the body healed and this song showed me how close I was to losing my life and how far I was away from my savour jesus the tree was a worning and the song wase my life line back to jesus one eye opener for me I believe god has a plan for me and he's showing it to me in vary small was as I'm listing to healing and up lifting music and comming back to my faith in christ which I missed for so so long if theres any one out there who needs help please put your faith in jesus he's the only true life line and the message in this song was ment for me god bless all who here it

After reading the comments for this song it reminded me of how being a Christian and struggling with depression I have been to that it is a demon inside me and that I just need God. I work in a field were my job is to encourage folks with what I was told was a demon. I pray alot for the for folks I work with and folks I know. Sometimes someone with depression or a mental illness needs someone to listen, someone to say they are there for them, to know someone cares. I don't talk to many about my depression anymore as I have been shut out but I know I have people who care, people who are there if i need them. We can not as Christians when someone ask what's wrong with someone, say they have a demon in them. That is not showing the lo moving hand of Christ. YES dealing with someone with a mental Illness is exhausting, over whelming at times and sometime you want the illness to go away but so do they. Some folks have to take medication some the meds don't work. Some have trauma they relive in their mind daily. Some have an insecurity of not being accepted as they were given up on or abandoned, and any time someone is disappointed in them it brings it back. In other words as Christians we need to show God's love not just on Sunday in church but everyday in our actions and in how we treat others. This is something I am working on and have had stumbling blocks but yet will continue to work on.

I waited on this guy back in 2015 at a Walgreens. I told him about my sweet Michael having cancer. The first verse of this song is the conversation we had at my job one night. He came in the week before on a Friday night. A week later he was back. I was down in the dumps trying to process the bomb that had been dropped in my life. BTW, he remembers me. I sent him a message yesterday. He answered back. When I first heard that song it reminded me of the conversation that I had with someone. I looked up that song and saw this guy's picture. It all came back to me.

Ive had chronic pain and migraines for 30 years. Ive tried lots of medications, therapies, procedures and treatments. Some days I feel like giving up. I feel very sad that I cant always join my friends and family for outings and occasions. This song reminds me that God loves me just as I am in this moment. He doesn't want me to give up and has a reason for my existence. It gives me hope. Im gonna hang in there. I have a grandbaby due to be born next summer ❤😊.

I've been struggling with depression, PTSD and suicidal ideation and loneliness. After my wife left me about two months ago, I had planned to end everything. When I feel everything is getting the better of me I exercise. That night I started walking, but, before I prayed and asked God to please give me something. With my headphones in I started walking, and the second song that played was this one. The final verse brought me to my knees (figuratively) and with my head against a light post I cried out to God. Now, I will admit that nothing has been easy ever since that day, but I will tell you that my life was saved that night. God bless everyone that feels like that is their only way out of the pain and suffering. But, give it to God. I can't promise that it will be easy and I still feel the pain and re-live the things I've had to do everyday. But, when it starts to hurt I do my best to give it to God.

I have major depression and PTSD. In 2012 my mom passed away in front of me and I had to jump from aunt to aunt to live. They made me feel not loved and one even sent me to a psych ward. The only thing that's been helping me is knowing that Jesus is always with me and loves me no matter what

I saw you guys in Bossier City 11/27/14 and you guys blew me a way. I'm all about the message of a song and I believe that there is an anointing on your lyrics that cuts to the heart. This song brought me to my knees when I heard it. " I know that you are calling me tonight, Jesus only you can save my life"....I surrendered to preach years back thinking it was going to be a hallelujah moment...but it was the opposite. I was hurt by people I considered family and that hurt followed me through 2 more church's. I have fought just to stay faithful to God. God has called me to be the one to say the words that someone needs to hear to save their life and this song brought me front and center with God! I'm not as strong as I think I should be, but maybe that's why God led me down this path. Just like the song that follows on the CD, Keep Making Me. One day, about three years ago, I was flipping through radio channels, and I heard a song that sounded really good. i'm not sure what it was, but it Saved My Life. That one radio station was called Klove, and I haven't changed it since! But, in ,May of 2014, we moved to Ohio from Tennessee. Where I live in Ohio, Klove isn't there. Yeah there's 95.5 The Fish, but I don't think it has the same attitude, the same atmosphere as Klove. But you are one of my favorite Christian Groups, and I absolutely love hearing your songs. I had a tree fall and me two years or so ago and I was a born again christian years ago but was back sliden when the tree fell on me and was I was busted up bad had to be air lifted to a hospital after the body healed and this song showed me how close I was to losing my life and how far I was away from my savour jesus the tree was a worning and the song wase my life line back to jesus one eye opener for me I believe god has a plan for me and he's showing it to me in vary small was as I'm listing to healing and up lifting music and comming back to my faith in christ which I missed for so so long if theres any one out there who needs help please put your faith in jesus he's the only true life line and the message in this song was ment for me god bless all who here it

After reading the comments for this song it reminded me of how being a Christian and struggling with depression I have been to that it is a demon inside me and that I just need God. I work in a field were my job is to encourage folks with what I was told was a demon. I pray alot for the for folks I work with and folks I know.
Sometimes someone with depression or a mental illness needs someone to listen, someone to say they are there for them, to know someone cares.
I don't talk to many about my depression anymore as I have been shut out but I know I have people who care, people who are there if i need them.
We can not as Christians when someone ask what's wrong with someone, say they have a demon in them. That is not showing the lo moving hand of Christ.
YES dealing with someone with a mental Illness is exhausting, over whelming at times and sometime you want the illness to go away but so do they. Some folks have to take medication some the meds don't work. Some have trauma they relive in their mind daily. Some have an insecurity of not being accepted as they were given up on or abandoned, and any time someone is disappointed in them it brings it back.
In other words as Christians we need to show God's love not just on Sunday in church but everyday in our actions and in how we treat others.
This is something I am working on and have had stumbling blocks but yet will continue to work on.
Such true lyrics . Our pastors, youth leaders etc don't exactly have it together like we may think. Lot of times we need to help lift each other collectively.
