    The best 2 days as a boat owner are when they buy it and when they sell it.

      LOL. I really hope that is not the case!

      Not even. If you have ever owned one of these. The worst day of your life is having to sell it for any reason ! I’ve had two 14’ one I bought new. The other had been used as a tender twice. That was 3 decades ago on the new one and one decade ago on the used one. I have a 12’ deep sides model now that I drove 1800 miles one way non stop to buy in Loveland Colorado from central Alabama. I paid $350 for it. Left Friday after work and wasn’t late for work Monday ! That’s how great these boats are. That 12’er will never leave the family !!!!!!😊

    Oh my what fun y'all are gonna have!! Can't wait to see the videos! You're right everyone is looking for boats and campers. We sold our 2010 Stingray in 2 days. Unfortunately the guy who bought it, blew the motor up his first time out! I cried for the boat 😭 she sure gave us great memories. Thankfully you have tons of friends to ask questions!

      That is a bummer about the boat! Pushing it a little too hard! I am loving the find and the timing could not have worked out better! Thank you Sandy!

      Oh yeah! I need to get a electric trolling motor. A lot of smaller lakes around here don't allow gas motors on the lake. Was thinking I will fix the 4 HP and try to trade it for a trolling motor. We will see.

    I very much approve this purchase!!! I haven't forgotten about pouring some baits for ya. It's just been super cold and tough to pour in those temps.

    These boats last forever and are super simple. As long as you take care of boats they last a longtime and hold
    Value. People who park them next to there house for years and expect them to look new after neglecting them are funny. Where do you fish at? I have one of these and live in Pacific Northwest!

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  3 роки тому

      So true. I live in the PNW as well. I have still not had time to take that baby out yet so I guess I am one of those guys! LOL. I struggle to find time, but next year for sure! A couple friends at work have them as well. Great boats!

    Hello how are you. I need your help I purchase a 12ft twin vee boat it is basically the same hull I am in the process of buying a motor for it and I can't find any info on how high or how low the cavitation plate of the motor sure be from the bottom of the transom how is that set up in your boat and also what is the transom high in your boat. Thanks so much for your response and if you could do a video on this that will be great I am sure there's a lot of people having the same issue and also I am a new subscriber to your Channel thank you from Tampa Florida

    • @ThatFixItGuy
      @ThatFixItGuy  3 роки тому

      Sorry it took me so long to get back to you. So where the motor hangs off the transom is to the bottom of the motor is 27 in. and the motor stick off the bottom of the boat 13 in. I hope this helps.
