The Park fire north of Chico - the largest blaze in California this year - exploded to more than 353,000 acres by Sunday morning, with its rapid spread destroying scores of buildings and forcing more evacuations.

Shouldn’t matter if he knew that it would be this severe. He intentionally pushed flaming car into trees. He didn’t leave the coffee pot on and set his house on fire by accident. He f**king did that. After the priors put him under the jail.

You'd think now is the time for California to start cutting the wild grasses like they use to do, but no, those programs were de-funded 30 years ago. It's much more profitable to pass the firefighting costs to the Federal government by declaring a 'State of Emergency'.
As well as this money always flows from Red states TO BLUE states...I live in a red state that unfortunately may be the recipient of said money..
The problem is all fire measures are reactive not proactive. You are correct. Climate is too dry for mass forestation.
You can't even get into most of these areas hiking much less drive in equipment I can tell you've never been in there. One look at a topo tells the real story.
@@shaneharris3586 obviously they are referring to spots where that is possible. I live here and there are many places where deforestation could happen and doesn’t. Sure there are places where it’s not possible but action isn’t taken in areas where it is. The hell are you on about
