Viseart has the absolute BEST eyeshadow formula for older women. It actually makes the lids look super smooth and is a dream to work with. I will definitely be getting this one, but not until it goes on sale, lol.

I have used quite a lot of urban decay in the past , but did not buy the ultraviolet palette. For me, the Viseart is so much easier to blend and still keep its color that I am basically kicking Urban Decay ultraviolet to the curb and definitely will not be buying. JS

I love the Urban Decay palette. People were so hard on it, but it blends beautifully and has a really unique shifting topper shade that transforms any look. Plus, they always have their stuff on sale. Personally, I love a lot of their products, I just get irritated that they discontinue everything. This Viseart palette does have a couple different purples though.
@@Mondlerrrr you are so right. I just received my UD Ultraviolet palette from Black Friday sale (30% off) and I'm in love!! UD makes great eyeshadow and this one didn't disappoint. They blend like a dream and I didn't experience any fallout. I unintentionally ordered the waterproof Perversion mascara and eyeliner set from Sephora, trying to take advantage of the sales on higher end mascara. I'm also in search of a different liner, since my beloved Stila of many years has been bleeding into my wrinkled, hooded eyes. I used the palette yesterday, along with the mascara and liner, and it lasted beautifully all day! The eyeliner is way better than expected and applied very smoothly. The mascara did not flake, like others have in the past. I never paid attention to these items, because unfortunately, no one ever talks about them! I was blown away from the beauty and quality of this palette and I'm disappointed in how the beauty community just dismisses certain palettes. I'm starting to see a bias from certain UA-camrs. I remember watching a certain UA-camr reviewing this palette when it first came out and she was quite negative about the palette, yet her look was gorgeous. I couldn't understand what she was complaining about, because it sure didn't look like a bad palette on her eyes. I noticed she has done this with other palettes, probably because shes not on their PR list. On the other hand, certain brands are overhyped in the beauty community, like Color Pop. I bought into the hype and have been very disappointed twice. No more Color Pop for me! After that, I was done taking UA-camrs seriously on quality. From now on, I will only watch for color swatches and I will determine for myself if it's a good palette. I can always return it if I'm not happy with it.

This has restored my faith in Viseart after the Petits Fours debacle. I swapped out Wink for the silver shade in Lilas (Fondant) & the Argente for Blushing as both are more sparkly. And I'll customise the 4 pan palette for travel. Viseart back on form!

I love this look on you! I have brown eyes and love purples but wasn't in love with Amethyst (too single-toned), and Liaison was a little too gritty in some of the shimmers for some reason. One of the things I'm attracted to in the Violette is the one matte addition in the top row (adds some warmth) and the berry purple (second from right in the bottom row) which I think would suit me. Also, the darkest shade isn't the purple blue that's in Liaison (I like that one) but is probably more wearable for me. Thanks for such an in-depth review. I think I'm going to pick this one up and maybe pass my Liaison onto someone else!
your review on the viseart quads led me to finally make my first viseart purchase! i have hesitated for years now because i know there are shades in the palettes that i won’t use (just like this one). so with the sale going on i bought praline and framboise! LOVE pecan. review was spot on! i do like framboise a lot and agree that one shade is very light. that’s ok for me because i prefer a softer neutral pink. the other matte is a little too purple, but still awesome 😎
I have the Viseart Amethyst palette and six of these shades are super similar to the shades in there. I've noticed Viseart tends to reuse shades a lot. I love this look though. You've inspired me to pick up my Amethyst again...Just looked on Beautylish and the Amethyst Theory palette is still available but it is actually more expensive than the Violette palette. The pans are bigger, but you get way more shades in Violette.
Ok, when I first saw this I thought it looked a lot like the UD Ultraviolet palette, but I’m pleased to see that it has wayyy more purple and deep tones 😍

Elderberry spritz is such a good drink! It’s called a Hugo Spritz, so if you ever see it, I highly recommend trying it. I work in Italy in non-Covid times and that’s pretty common there. Elderberry chocolate is a thing too if you’re not a cocktail person.

My Pleasure is more pink. It has 1-2 cool violets, but not much. The cool Violet tone here is hard to find elsewhere.
