How often do you all update things like the paint? Overall this was a beautiful tour, but I did notice some things looked like they haven't been kept up, or just need some TLC. I think the idea here is that people who go to see it, want it to look just like it did in the movies. From what I have seen in this and other videos, you all are managing to do that, for the most part.
Also, how often do they allow people to stay the night in the hobbit homes? Or did I misunderstand the AirBnB thing on the website. It appeared that there was an event, or an ongoing thing, where they allowed people to pay to spend the night in those hobbit homes. Also, in this video, I saw him go to Bilbo's house, with the green door, and it was open, but he didn't go to the door and look in, nor inside. Is that not allowed? I would assume that seeing the insides of the homes would be something people want to do.
I will say this. That place looks idyllic. Like heaven on Earth. Beautiful, tranquil, and someplace you would just want to be. It makes me wonder why some people aren't literally getting together and buying land like this around the world, and creating something like this to raise families in.
My god…one of the few things in life that doesn’t disappoint when you see it up close.

This is very heartwarming. I remember after the movies wrapped, the site fell into severe disrepair. I'm glad some enterprising souls saw fit to restore the wonderful bit of magic on earth.

There is a hobbit home a woman built in the United States for the purpose of allowing people to enjoy it as if you were in the real Shire in New Zealand. It is gorgeous on the inside with beautiful scenery outside no matter the weather or time of day or night. You can even enjoy breakfast in bed with the big round door open to witness nature’s daily painting.
I wish I could go to New Zealand but, Washington State is a lot closer to me, and I know that I can still escape to Middle Earth and enjoy the life of a Hobbit whenever I want to☺️

I can vistit here again when I want because it only takes 1 hour from my home but the problem is the admission fee :)
The Amazon series takes place 2000 years before The Lord of the Rings movies so they aren't filming there.
