I think the VFX scenario you suggested was way too much time consuming to produce and impractical at that time according to your teacher Teachers know something students don’t, so don’t feel down just try to find your way through it That’s why they chose the AI one because it will be much straight forward to produce in thier turnaround and also more aesthetically pleasing, seems very practical too. As a creative person, the most helpful thing for me is quality break time. It's just my opinion, I think Pawan your story might be inspired by Hollywood or Bollywood theme, you can see a lot of Japanese cinema and figure out what are their culture and story pattern they work on. Cause stories derived from local culture you can clearly see it in our movies.

Hey, i know rejections are hard and make us doubt ourselves. I think the mistake you may be doing is not learning from the feedback, i think the problem with your VFX script was that it was not as feasible as the other person's but I'm not sure. Sit down with your professors and ask them how to improve and what mistakes you are doing. Getting feedback is fastest way to improve. Don't feel discouraged, keep improving and I'm sure you will succeed :)

I think he should actually watch more films in general. Also read more books. He kinda mixed special effects with CGI. Also, his script on imagination made no sense, lacked cohesion. That was kind of project CGI artists make to show off their skills. More compact and cohesive stories are expected from script writers.

Things are not going to work according to you. But take all the rejections as an boost and work hard and confidently. Filmmaking is all about making a movie but most importantly it's also about failures.Your Failure will teach you. Watch movies from all over the world. Watch japnese cinema and trust me it's very beautiful and authentic. Watch kurusawa, Miyazaki's work. Start analysing the films. Give yourself time and trust the process. Hey, i know rejections are hard and make us doubt ourselves. I think the mistake you may be doing is not learning from the feedback, i think the problem with your VFX script was that it was not as feasible as the other person's but I'm not sure. Sit down with your professors and ask them how to improve and what mistakes you are doing. Getting feedback is fastest way to improve. Don't feel discouraged, keep improving and I'm sure you will succeed :)

I think he should actually watch more films in general. Also read more books. He kinda mixed special effects with CGI. Also, his script on imagination made no sense, lacked cohesion. That was kind of project CGI artists make to show off their skills. More compact and cohesive stories are expected from script writers.

Things are not going to work according to you. But take all the rejections as an boost and work hard and confidently. Filmmaking is all about making a movie but most importantly it's also about failures.Your Failure will teach you. Watch movies from all over the world. Watch japnese cinema and trust me it's very beautiful and authentic. Watch kurusawa, Miyazaki's work. Start analysing the films. Give yourself time and trust the process. Yes there is an cultural barrier but find a way from it. I'm damn sure about it. All the best for further and do well.
