Wow, that sweeps me back many decades. But what changes! South Melbourne was all industrial (no Southbank towers, no Kingsway) , but Port Melbourne Town Hall is still there. And now no Federation Bridge taking the roadway above the train lines to Station Pier, where we held streamers to farewell our friends sailing to Britain on the passenger liners, then getting the train back to Flinders Street. Thanks so much for this.
A lovely drive, enjoyed everything fro Bay street very much. Thank you. 🥰
My pleasure 😊
Thanks again for your continuing journeys through the streets of your fine city.
My pleasure! Thanks for watching mate!
awesome drive scenery
Many thanks!

Beautiful memories... But Bruce (Williams), did you really live in Melbourne decades ago ?😉
@@roamingNwatching Yep, 1954-1969. It was a much more manageable city then.
Haha, you are the real Bruce Williams from Melbourne, not the one from Hollywood😀
@roamingNwatching Oh dear, I've never heard of this chap.
I wonder if these videos would be enhanced if we could hear the actual sounds outside of the vehicle. Maybe leave a window open, or a sunroof.
The camera sits actually outside of the vehicle. Any good idea to reduce the wind noise?
what camera?
