Thank you, Vanessa for sharing a glimpse into your world. What a beautiful slice of heaven you have created. Wishing you lots of joy and happiness. Thank you for sharing!
It is a beautiful garden, Vanessa, and very natural looking. You have a nice, wee burn running through it, too. Where there is water and vegetation in combination, you'll always find insects and other arthropods. Wonderful. And hard work.
... WOW !! Amazing garden Vanessa ! So good to see you getting your health back ... Such an awful thing to go thru .. Your energy is inspiring.. ..... Stay Safe and God Bless .....
Hello Vanessa i really love your garden area and I'm glad to see you getting back to normal .the willows make the garden .stay safe and get your rest ...
Vanessa, I am 71 now and live alone on 3 acres. In the past, I built a small barn for dairy goats, and found that I fell in love with them. But like you, the winter made everything harder....shoveling to the barn after a long day at work, keeping their water from freezing, etc. I eventually had to sell them, which pretty much broke my heart. Twice since then, I've adopted a pair of young wethers just to have as companions. Now, even they are gone and the barn is used instead to store firewood and my kayak. I still dream of the beautiful days with my goat friends and in an ideal world I would have them once more. Thank you for sharing your beautiful homestead with us. Best wishes to you.
Once I was camping outside of the farm with many kinds of different animals and sheep and I heard the Sheep talking to each other in a language when they thought there was no one around listening
I want to thank you for your tour of your homestead. It is very beautiful. I am glad you reduced your livestock so that you can care for them easier and less stress on you. by the way,... your Rooster got in the last word LOL
Thank you for the tour of your farm Vanessa very nice place you have. Really enjoyed the video. And yes I am enjoying the Spring in northern Minnesota everything turning green again best time of year after a long Winter. Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Hi Vanessa, I really enjoyed this in-depth tour of your garden. You have such a wide variety of plant and trees. Now it's summertime, your garden looks so beautiful, with everything in flower, the birds singing, and the water running in the creek, all music to our ears! It wouldn't be a farm without the voice of the rooster, and he's got a strong voice! I'm glad you've reduced your number of animals, essential for maintaining your way of life, and eases the burden on you. This was a brilliant video, giving us an insight into your life at home. Thank you for sharing with us.💗💗💗🐔🐑🐣
You are such a hard working, beautiful woman. That is a very nice little farm you have. I love the way you use nature the way it used to be done. You do very well with what you have. Stay safe and stay healthy.
Very nice farm and garden. Stop defending how you manage your livestock, they are not pets. The people who say bad comments about animal harvest, will never agree no mater how you explain to them,,, even when you tell them how their hamburger or bacon & egg muffin is made, or what it is made from, they will never , never admit they need this to happen for them, but I do love how your big heart cares how other people feel and think. This world needs many more Wild Women being proud beautiful ladies and mothers of the leaders for tomorrow. Thank you so much Vanessa.
I love your incorporation of creature habitat, you are wise not just smart, I see you know nature as a close friend, your love of garden makes you a pro at bush craft, and yes thats the secret, let it heal itself, and let it grow.
I really like your cat. He's definitely earning his keep by chasing away the rats. And he's so friendly too. Cats are such amazing animals. They cover up their droppings. They even give themselves a bath.
Hello Vanessa nice seeing you again. Thank you for sharing your life at home. You have a piece of paradise with your beautiful flowers and your fruit trees and garden. Love your videos.
Just keep doing what you do. Too many people try to judge too much about things they know nothing about. You are great at what you do and you know when to take care of things. I wish you nothing but the best in all that you do. I thoroughly enjoy your videos.
The farm looks lush and green. Beautiful. Thanks for explaining why you were cutting grass even though you have goats. That’s a very photogenic rooster; he almost stole the show. 👍🏽👍🏽
I really enjoyed this video! Being a farmer definitely is something you do well and seem to enjoy very much. My grandparents had a farm and I have such wonderful memories from my visits to their place. It was a child’s paradise! Your love of nature is wonderful gift. I’m so glad you shared this video.
Such a beautiful place you have there Venessa. I can tell that you really enjoy it there very much. So glad to see that you are doing so well now. It is very cool and rainy here in Virginia today. Keep up the good work and thanks for sharing !
Good job on keeping your self-sufficient farm balanced. Also, I like that you didn't go too deep in explaining about life and death as the circle of life and death is a part of life. Thank you for EVERYTHING you do....for nature..and for us. God bless you 🙏❤
No.#753 I LIEBE YOUR NATURE WIDEOS. :) XO Willow trees take a lot of water, but they a nice. My Opa grew one and make it grow like a palm tree! We had to chop it down when they make sewerage system in. :(
You have a very nice farm/ home… I’m sure it is a lot of work… but also very rewarding. It is true… the balance of nature… how nature regulates itself… and how everything has it’s place… I love that you appreciate the balance and purpose of nature. I also like how nature and time weathers the wood… and grey’s the ladder and benches on your farm… it makes part of the comfort… of your home. Thanks for sharing your garden and farm with us… it was wonderful to see. Take good care of yourself… and stay safe and well. Peace
Thanks for the tour, you have a nice place, your own little world. Yes, I like the warm weather, I used to get depressed in the Winter time because it's gray and gloomy...not depressed now, but still like the green better.
You have a very interesting and certainly very busy life! It does seem to boost your spirits when you spend time working your farm. Thank you for sharing it with us! As always, I hope you are smiling and happy this day! Peace from far away!
Hey Vanessa like I said before you have a beautiful Farm I like everything about it and the way you take care of things and it's nice to have that little creek right there by the garden makes things easier, I am happy and proud of you keep up the good work may the Lord continue to bless you and the family🙏🙏🙏💞💞be safe.
On this one property I would always toss apple or pear cores on the side of the fields or on the edge of the one pasture. Now there are a few apple trees and pear trees growing with some over 40 years old now. Then me and Jeff (the grandson of the man who owned it before) were up at the cabin there, with his sons and we were talking about it and he always did the same thing. Just he did not remember doing it with pears. On that 80 some acres there area about 30 apple trees and 6 pear trees all on the edges.
Hi Vanessa. It is fantastic to see your farm. I love that your children have a fruit tree each. Love the creek at bottom of garden. Always love animals. Your Cat is beautiful. Thank you for showing us around. Look forward to next video. Good to be part of your supporters. Joined last night. XX
Lots of natural yummy for your tummy... emmm. Nice natural setting with repurposing looks great, very soothing and calming when all the work is done. Happy Trails, Cheers!
A lovely place to be, with your love of nature and most importantly, a wonderful setting for teaching your children the importance of being in harmony with nature. Thanks..
I love your animals and your stick fence! And that creek is wonderful. I used to run sled dogs and couldn't wait for cold weather and winter for many years. My friends and I would meet at the forest 4 times a week, train together, and there were quite a few races but as years passed, people died, or stopped doing it, or got older, like me. But all those years I never noticed the grey colors because there was something fun to do. I only have one Siberian husky left now but we walk every day in the woods as long as ice doesn't prevent that. It's good to have a winter hobby, or some special indoor projects planned to look forward to because otherwise it can get depressing. Thank you for respecting your food animals and for giving them a happy life while they are here.
Your farm is a Big job & you’re up for the challenge as usual! Just don’t push your limits; you have been through an awful lot. I would love to see Baby Marinus; you have adorable children. My very best to you & yours!!🐾
nice to see your farm and how you interact with your family. those kids are very lucky with you as a mom. i lost much memory due to heart attack and for some reason your video give me peace of mind. enjoy this nice dat,
Thank you for the farm tour - I can just imagine the amount of time and work you have to do to keep everything working with out problems - It must be very satisfying for you.
Hi Vanessa.. Wow this is what you was talking about. I know how it is and cut backs are needed from time to time due to costs. Keep what you have to and have fun with them. I know it is hard but living a life style that you are is for you and your family. Live stock is a must for most people that want to live as they do. I have fond memories when you put up these type of video,s as you know my past has been lost due to my memory. Bringing back something i can remember is all because of you Thank You so much. Regards Mick from England.. X
Hello Vanessa, I've been watching your videos for less than a week. I can't begin to express my admiration for your work ethic and your human authenticity. I regret not discoverying your channel until very recently. Had I known, I'd have offered to help you out with the cost of a new computer. Hopefully, my modest monthly contribution to self sufficiency will help out a bit. It seems that you sure could use a partner, companion, or whomever to help with this heartfelt and worthy effort. You are a lovely woman. Stay healthy and the best of luck to you!
Beautiful garden Vanessa when you live a life style of sustainability on a farm life and death is a way of life. I absolutely love your place. I admire how you work with nature instead of against it. Around these parts people keep their open spaces cut close to the ground (sadly including me) whereas wildflowers and plants aren't allowed to grow. Lack of wildflowers IMO, are a major cause for lack of bees, butterflies.....ect. and that is a major reason our gardens aren't doing as well as they used to. I planted lots of wildflowers this year and plan on letting a lot more of my property go more back to nature. Hi super beautiful Vanessa, your beautiful garden look like paradise and you are lucky to live in this rich country with a lot of wilderness❤️💜🍀🌳🌴🌵🌾🌿☘️💮🏵️🌹🥀🌱🌲
Wild Woman Vanessa👍👍😮 Work, work, work...how fun. Animals, land, tools, house and kids all need maintenance and only so much Vanessa to go around. A small garden tractor with some implements would make life so much easier on a small farm... But I know you like doing things hands on. Self sufficiency also means self sacrifice sometimes, it's a tough road to travel. The drone shows your hard work paying off, very nice. Great video, well done. Enjoy!
Very nice, cozy, and peaceful garden/farm. Good for meditating and to de-stress. Looks like an animal sanctuary. Cool vibes. Where I come from, goats are natural lawn mowers. LOL.

Hi, it is interesting to see the life in your farm and the garden 😀👍.
your awesome:) love watching your videos and listening to you tell me things. thank you
The farm/ranch life is always changing. That is one of the best parts of it...

Your pasture looks like my backyard looked a week ago, right before I mowed it - grass was about that tall. Nice to have machines that are able to handle such jobs. Be well and stay safe out there
Your home is beautiful
Looks awesome. Fresh veg is always so much better than the grocery store. Way more flavorful. Meat also 😋👍🏻
The new life in the spring makes you feel anything is possible. Stay safe.
Hello Vanessa , your self sufficiency farm is a very natural way of having a farm 🚜 so I don't really know what your expectations for are , if you want to grow vegetables you should really have a dedicated area big enough for growing for what ever you want to grow , machinery with water 💧 going through don't mix with winter weather they just break , maybe its time to start looking at modernising machinery what you can , I'm glad 😊 your rat 🐀 problems have now seems to have gone , you have a lovely living natural lifestyle Vanessa.
Vanessa ♡♡♡.
Potatoes 🥔 can grow anywhere 😋.
Great video Vanessa. 😌👏
I’m sure your lifestyle requires a lot of knowledge and a lot of work, but you clearly love it. ☺️
You are very working and beautiful ❤️
It was time to assess what was needed and you did well, Vanessa. 👍🏻
And you wonder about your energy level with all that still to take care of, but it's nice to know you have thinned it out abit to the level you can handle better. Lovely to have a running stream through your garden as that alone is a massive help. All the berry plants in my garden have gone mad this year so plenty of pies and jams coming up soon, and 2 Plum, 3 Pears and 5 Cherries trees have fruited for the first time in 3 years this years. So get out there sit down with a hot drink and enjoy the wonderment of things just appearing all by themselves, as then it is the guessing game to what they are. Rest easy. Arthur (UK)
