You can find a swiffer knock-off at the Dollar Tree. The pole and flat attachment are sold separately (or just unscrew your broom and use it's pole) and each piece is 1.00. They sell fluffy duster rags and firm floor cloths to go on it. All for $1.00 each. I use mine all the time to clean my floors, walls and carport screens. 😍
I was so inspired after watching your video. I not only cleaned the framework and screens on my porch, I used an old spin mop mop head to wipe down the siding inside my porch. It looks so clean and nice out there. 😊
Thank you so much. I looked at other videos and I can't believe how difficult they look compared to yours. I had no idea how it was going to clean it without a hose. You guys are awesome. Or you used with a microfiber Rag and water. Unbelievable
Love your enthusiasm and simple approach that is economical, efficient and made a big difference! I Googled “how to clean screens on a screened in porch” and you popped up. Just the info I needed! Great job. Am going to look back at some of your other videos now!
I wasn't able to comment earlier, but my sister decided to redo her screens and she finished one. She didn't have the took you used and that's probably why she had such a rough time. I'm going to let her know about that. Your screen looks great and it's also great it has held up so well! You ladies are such an encouragement to the rest of us. Thanks ladies!! 💜
Thanks Chandy! The step ladder is from Home Depot: Gorilla Ladders 4.5 ft. 250 lbs. Load Capacity Type I Duty Rating Aluminum Hybrid Ladder with Tray, 9 ft. H Reach
great job. how would you clean that siding ?? i have a screened porch with carpet and have steel siding that is a dutch lap design.{ like yours but with a thin flat ledge on the top of each panel}. really don't want to spray with water. ...any suggestions
Hi, in Tallahassee, screened porch is mildewed..most recommendations say use vinegar and water…do you have experience with mildew on your porch? Thankyou for the video!
Hi Nancy, living in Tallahassee as well, we are very familiar with dirty screens although we’ve never had a mildew problem so we can’t speak to that specific issue. To clean the screens on the porch we use only water and microfiber cloths. That works surprisingly well without having to use chemicals. It works best with someone on each side of the screen cleaning the same area at the same time. With window screens, we just pop them out and clean them with Dawn and water in the driveway using a very soft brush. I did a quick internet search and did find the vinegar and water suggestion. The only problem I have with that is that vinegar can be corrosive. When used in a shower it can, over time, eat away at the aluminum enclosure. If the area you are cleaning has aluminum framing, I’d be very carful to rinse away any residue if you decide to use vinegar. - Vicki
Too funny, I clicked on your video because I have a large screen porch to clean but didn't realize you were in Tally, we are in Crawfordville and know Robert! Good job!
I wanted to Thank You from the bottom of of my heart! I have just completed cleaning my screened in porch. Thanks to you, doing the screens was so satisfying and I am now sitting out on that very same porch staring out my clean screens! All 13 of them! 😆👍. A bucket of water (actually countless buckets), a swifter and microfiber rags (múltiples of them too) - honestly, could it have been any easier?! Thank you again.
Great video! I am in the process of doing the same. Question... why did you wait to leaf blow afterwards? Wouldn't that just throw the pollen/dirt back to the places you already cleaned?
Wow I love you ladies. I just did a video that's coming out soon on cleaning my screen house -- but actually after looking at your video -- it's not clean at all. AT ALL. I need to tackle it like you all did and then I may redo the video and include why based on your video. I'm going to have to check out your other videos and see what else I'm missing - I would love for you to check out my videos as well -- I'm a gardener with a brand new UA-cam channel -- that I LOVE! Thanks for the fun video.

It’s that time to clean the screens. Usually I wash them with soap and water. I notice you didn’t use soap, so is there a reason? Let me know. I am waiting. Thank you for all the wonderful tips the two of you provide. Love the magnetic screen dog door😅
I am so glad to find Florida people with advice that is relevant to me.

We did this before, after and during. Pollen is everywhere this time of year!
Thank you for this! Great video

Love the ladder. What brand is it?
That's the Gorilla Ladders 23 ft. Multi-Position Ladder. We made a full video about it here: ua-cam.com/video/dTcWfRmixRQ/v-deo.html
Does it matter if you clean the inside screen first before cleaning the outside screen?
I don't think so

We just found this technique worked without soap. Thanks for watching!
Are you cleaning that green screen with just water? Mine needs cleaning and it has green algae on it too.
Yeah, the green part cleaned up with the same water and microfiber cloth.
I'm not sure the black on that cloth was just dirt. It appeared to be the metal color from the screen. ???
Looks like north Florida to me
Yep!
I live in the keys... Just as helpful!! 🤣🤣
WOW, LOVELY WOMEN….THANKS FOR THE TIPS LADIES
