Today I wanted to do something a little different from what I usually do and take you guys on a tour of a beautiful, $6.5 million luxury home in my hometown of Miami. You have to see this place to believe it!
This gorgeous, modern luxury home is one of my father’s real estate listings. It’s located in Pinecrest, an affluent and exclusive suburb of Miami. Pinecrest is known as a playground for the rich and famous. Many celebrities, including NBA superstar Dwyane Wade and iconic music producer Timbaland, live in the area.
The property is 1.3 acres in total and the house itself is over 10,000 square feet. It contains 7 bedrooms and 7.5 bathrooms. The house is unique in that, while it is a contemporary, modern, and minimalistic house, it has a very warm feel to it as opposed to the cold cube feel that most contemporary homes have.
The home boasts a spectacular entrance with a massive, 400-lb pivot door. Inside is a living room with 28-foot ceilings. The living room is staged with beautiful furniture from Artefacto that is worth about $350,000, while the house itself is $6.45 million.
This super luxurious home is specially designed so that natural light can permeate the entire interior.
Further inside is a 12-seat dining room table and a powder room. There is also a huge, 8-foot mirror and six high-tech and high-efficiency air conditioning units that can be controlled from your phone or iPad.
As you continue inside, you’ll find a stunning kitchen that contains double sub-zero freezers and a wine cooler that can store 80 bottles. Off the kitchen is a nice family room that has beautiful views of the outside. The family room is furnished with comfortable couches and chairs, as well as an 80-inch TV.
Outside the family room is a covered dining room with a barbecue grill and a large, ten-seat table. In this area, you’ll also find a fridge and a freezer.
The nearby infinity-edge pool uses saltwater technology instead of chlorine and boasts stairs for easy entry and exit. Along the pool are lounge chairs, a Jacuzzi, and an outdoor living room with two couches and a table. It feels like a luxury resort!
There is also a massive backyard with a soccer field and some holes where you can practice your golf swing!
The property also features a multi-purpose cabana that can be used as a gym, a playroom, and more. Also inside is a bathroom. Above the pool area is the terrace for the master bedroom, which has its own stairway that leads down to the pool.
Back inside is a four-person elevator, which is unique, as most homes in this area only have two-person elevators. Further inside is the maid’s quarters and a gorgeous laundry room with Italian cabinetry and a laundry chute.
There is a 3-car garage with hurricane-proof, industrial-sized doors and a spot where you can charge an electric car. On the main floor is an office, which looks out at the pool and has its own bathroom.
Next is upstairs! There’s another living area there, plus three more bedrooms. Off this living area is a terrace.
The first bedroom has a sleek, clean bathroom and a nice closet. The second features a bathroom with a tub. The closets are unfinished so the homeowner can tailor it to their needs. This bedroom features a bathroom and closet, as well as a view of the neighbor’s house and a garden below. There is also a massive rooftop terrace that can fit up to 200 people and overlooks the front yard!
The house features unique baseboards and doors; the doors have a special mechanism that shuts out all noise and air from the outside.
Next up is the master bedroom, which is beautifully furnished and features a 100-inch TV and the massive terrace and stairway we saw earlier. The terrace is a great place to host parties, and with the escape route staircase, your guests don’t have to go through the rest of the house to get there!

hasn't sold and its $200,000 a year in taxes besides having to have an electrician/handyman on staff and two ladies cleaning daily :)

I love this house. Lord I pray I have a home this great and everything I’ve ever dreamed of🤞🏾
They should have designed a layout that merges the 2 sitting areas (on the first floor). Because the sitting are are separated, it makes the space smaller than it actual is. Also, the bathrooms look a little bit on the cheap side. The master bedroom is a bit small. There are many “rooms/bedrooms” in the house so would happily eliminate one or two of those rooms to get a bigger master. What I hate the most is the wood floor on the 2nd floor. It should have been tile.
However, I do like the big patios, the front yard and backyard. Most modern houses have a tiny backyard. Because of the big backyard, it makes it looks that the neighbors are not so close to the house. The front of the house allows multiple cars to be parked which is nice. And the rooms on the first floor can turned into office or bedrooms which is good.

I like this the only issue I have is that you have this massive back yard but only a three car garage this would be a 10 if it had an 8 car garage.

Did you say "six air conditioning units?" .... Why not central air? This was the very reason I rejected a $1.5 million, 4 bedroom home (in New York) several years ago. That house had 9 air conditioning units throughout the house. Interestingly, it was the most beautiful home of all the homes I had viewed during my hunt for a property back then. Central air/heat for me .... not several a/c units.
