So both he and Rick had grandfathers who served in WW2. Rick's made it home and Daryl's didn't and it shows in how different the family's trajectories were affected. Rick obviously grew up in a very stable home wheras poor Daryl and Merle suffered the generational trauma from the loss. Its very interesting tbh.
It took 13 years to introduce Super Variants of Walkers. I know that Smart Walkers existed in the beginning and finally reintroduced in the final half of the final season but damn
They need to add some sort of logic to it, maybe fresher zombies remain with more brain activities, or the ones who never starved(keep feeding) become better and better than the ones who stayed without eating long.

They can make 20 different spin-offs and none of them will ever come close to inducing the amount of anxiety that season 1 gave. As usual, excellent work. I think I'm suffering from a TWD fatigue. I watched the first two and a half episodes of DD and didn't want to continue because of the slow pace and the foreign environment that unfortunately didn't do it for me. BUT I did want to know how the story continues. It seems things got a lot more interesting after I quit.
I am going to watch season two but needed this recap. Tbh, setting this one in France with a whole bunch of random people noone knows or cares about was a big mistake. I'm glad Carol's back and i hope thisseason s an improvement on the first.
Honestly, I didn't think this was going to be any good, I never even really liked Daryl but this was way better then I expected. It was better than any of the other spinoffs and better than the last 6 seasons of the Walking Dead.

@@Lina_o-O So now that we know that Rick and Michonne are back at Alexandria, Daryl at the same time is in France trying to get back ? That's what Carol probably told him at the radio that someone came back. Although she didn't sound that happy so I'm a little bit confused
One big question I still have is why were they shipping walkers from America to France? Like did Europe run out of zombies, so the French lady needed some from America in order to continue with those experiments? 😅

Great recap, Man of Recaps! You're right, this one is worth watching. I was pleasantly surprised!
In a show that features zombies, supervariants, and zombie gladiator fights in the midst of a postapocalyptic presidential bid, I gotta say the most unrealistic part is the fact that all these French people are able to speak English fluently

Man, I love your recaps in general but this one is probably the funniest one you've done yet!
What a recap man, I was confused what that lady boss had to do with Daryl Dixon but thanks to you for explaining, good work mate 💜👏
Thanks for getting the recap out so soon.
I love this, UA-cam channel so much every time this dude uploads it really makes my day
Just entered S2 and forgot almost everything from S1. Totally forgot how good of a season it was. Thanks for your service, sir
Watching this was the exact appropriate bite-size length and was exactly as much energy as I felt like putting into watching this season :)
THANK YOU
Never really thought about it but the castles in Europe would definitely be an edge. The lack of guns. Probably not
The lack of guns and castles in walking distance is all my German ass can think about when watching zombie movies and shows😂
Both world wars were fought in Europe, every country has modern armies.... There are literally guns everywhere
what people failed to consider, less guns, less lethal people are at range, atypically.
You make the show sound better then the actual show
Really GOOD video. Quality, clips, narration is great. Keep on keeping on 👍
