It’s so tough at that age bless her. It can be quite confusing to her in her own head let alone trying to then communicate that to her parents. I always find it helpful as even as adults to look at whats called the emotions pinwheel. You can print it off in colour and give it to Nelly so she has actual words to express what it is she is feeling and experiencing in her head. Because once those emotions become known to the parents and they can realise perhaps what her triggers tend to be, the better the communication will be and in turn fewer overwhelmed meltdowns x
