Thanks for watching! Leave a comment below if you have any questions. I’ve added a bunch of Russian cities to my travel list for my next trip to Russia, as well as some neighboring countries. I am finally on vacation from university, so I am going to edit all my videos from Russia now and start working on the new videos I filmed in the USA and Mexico. Have a great day and thank you for subscribing!

This move even interesting for those who long time living in Moscow with this great possibility to visit two beautiful Moscow museums. Thanx, Ricardo. BTW I have never visited Pushkin museum and (thanx for this video) I mentioned for myself that for number of exhibits and by interior it can be compared to Louvre and the Hermitage museums.
I wish Central Park had such a landscape and... a palace!. BTW, this palace somehow looks very English and Austrian at the same time, but definitely not French at all.
Hi Ricardo) Thank you for such an amazing video. I’m so impressed with picture quality! Just curious, which camera do you use for filming? View angle is not too wide, is it dji osmo pocket?
thank you for watching! I record on my iPhone 11 Pro Max at 4k 30fps, I used to film on my big DSLR camera but iPhone is already stabilized and audio is good, plus I can just airdrop 300 videos from one day of filming straight onto my MacBook for editing
13:40 is factually wrong. They ended up building a giant heated open air pool there actually. Or something along those line. The cathedral is built on top of the pool.
Many years from now the palace will still be there, but nobody will be calling today’s technology “ modern”. By this logic, Europe should have been left in ruins after WWII because restoration was inauthentic.

Comrade, if you are in Moscow and are looking for a location for video. Take video of the outskirts of Moscow, and you will immediately see that only in the center it was made beautiful
I understand that You can not answer my question, while You are in Russia and from Your career point of view, like a future diplomat in U.S. State Department, You should literally not answer my question at all, but, if You have decided that You limit Your options to physically reside in Russia, id est You have decided to never visit Russia during the next 20 years or so, then it would be interesting to watch a video, where You describe Your Russia related career options and, the most dangerous part, Your thoughts, about the prospects of Russia as You see them in 2022_04. Also, I do not want to sound like a pervert stalker, but what caught my attention about Your current channel is that You physically look like a better version of ~16 years younger me, with the difference that You are into humanities and I am into realities. Even Your choice of sports, football, and preference of sports wear, matches. I wondered a little bit, how is it that a person of Your generation still wears a classical wrist watch, but, You do seem to be a career-wolf, so just like me You seem to need some device. I graduated a science biased highschool in year 2000 and _before_ graduation I already swapped classical wrist-watches to a Texas Instruments "personal digital assistant", PDA(read: old-school dedicated hardware for a smartphone calendar application). The difference between a watch and a PDA was that a PDA had buttons for writing reminders that could have an audble alarm attached to it. It was really practical. I still miss that. I could use a smartphone app for that nowadays, but as a privacy conscious IT guy I just do not want to enter such data to any smartphone. As a matter of fact I'm thinking of creating myself a proper offline-PDA, but it's just one of such "household projects" that I haven't had time to work on despite having all the components available at a drawer. So I use paper notes. But, yeah, I do not run into people, who are physically so similar to me, even some younger version of me, than You are. On the other hand, one of my biological grandfathers was also a Russian, so I should be like "25% Russian". I'm an Estonian by nationality, speak Estonian natively, but the rest of me should be genetically roughly Latvian (I have many relatives from Saaremaa) and some very distant roots are also German. In one of Your videos You said that You are biologically halve-Russian. May be there's something there in terms of genetics. Well, anyway, about Your videos: I suspect that given how things are in 2022_04 Russia, Your videos probably reflect the high times of those museums for decades to come. Also, my 2022 belief is that as long as the Russian culture does not abandon the utter obedience, the loving of hierarchy, it does not matter, who is the Czar or Queen in the Kremlin. I like to compare the rich Russians with rich Americans, like, what do those different people prefer to do with their wealth, regardless of how they obtained their riches. The Americans try to get something done, id est the Bill Gates foundation, etc. The Russian rich just do nothing, but waste time, drink, enjoy their super-yachts. Like, how many American ultra-rich waste their money on huge super-yahts? Or, which Russian oligarch funds pharmacy research like the Bill Gates does? And I'm saying that as a person, who does not even like the Bill Gates. And that's the difference between the West and the Russia. In Russia, even the rich are lazy and do not bother to get things done, to the point that which ever crook (Stalin, Putin, etc.) is talented enough to take over the Kremlin, the Kremlin regime can just roam around without ever ending in a predicament, where the French ruling elite found themselves during the French Revolution. In the West any ruler with brains knows that the state won't be the only party that can kill and destroy, but in Russia the general public just does not mind being a passive cattle for the Kremlin. The amount of alcohol use in Russian population makes it also easier to rule the Russians. On the other hand, I also think that literally all American problems, independent of party or topic, stem from the American style of thinking that is reflected by the American saying: a quick decision is better than no decision. In Estonia we have the direct opposite to that saying: "9 korda mõõda ja 1 kord lõika", which translates to, "Measure the crafting material 9 times before cutting it 1 time", which is kind of culture specific way of saying that think hard and thoroughly before doing something. Supposedly the Germans have some saying that is roughly in between the 2 extremes: "While the smart ones are thinking, the stupid ones take over the castle." Estonian Russians tend to joke that Estonians are horribly slow and speak even Estonian slowly. As an Estonian I disagree that Estonians are slow, but I do speak Estonian slower than Americans speak English, so may be there is some truth to the saying of Estonian Russians. Also, 50% of the capital of Estona, Tallinn, speak Russian natively, meaning, when You can't go to Russia any more, then You may consider the Baltic countries as a destination for Your travels. You can probably take a train from Petersburg to Tallinn even in 2022_04 and it is literally about 3h from Tallinn to Helsinki by a ferry that goes multiple times per day from both cities(Tallinn, Helsinki). Obviously You can take a ferry from Tallinn to Stockholm. Just, a tip for Your travels :-) Now, actually, since I did bash both, Russian culture and American culture, then it would be fair that I as an Estonian at least tried to criticize the Estonian culture. Oh my. The list is long. but, my pick is laziness. I really hate the situation, when somebody says that we are already better than all of our competition, so we can afford to not fix the problems that we have and that we know to be problems. And there are A LOT of problems in Estonia, despite the statistics that claims that life in Estonia is pretty good in comparison to other Western places. The ID-card based state bureaucracy reduction, which is outdated by 2022 standards, is still ahead of what the West or anybody else has. Etc. The worst thing about Estonia for me as an Estonian is the slavery that is called conscription. I find that if the military defense of Estonia can not be provided on a voluntary bases, then Estonia as a state does not even deserve to exist as a separate state. My preference in those circumstances would be that Estonia would become just another state of the United States of America. The Estonian young speak English anyway, the U.S./NATO does the military heavy lifting here already, why not to be officially part of the U.S. The U.S. does not have the slavery called conscription. Thank You for reading my comment.

Just, a tip for Your travels :-)
Now, actually, since I did bash both, Russian culture and American culture, then it would be fair that I as an Estonian at least tried to criticize the Estonian culture.
