  • I'm really becoming fond of fishing this pond when I'm not having much luck in the kayak out in the bay.

Pond fishing can be lots of fun! Make sure you stay out of those trees Chris! When they grab something, they don't usually give it back! Thanks again for sharing another one of your adventures!

Thanx for watching & commenting. Some days I catch sooo many trees, I have to throw a few back 🤣. Glad you enjoyed, take care my friend

Nice video Chris! Pond fishing is one of my favorite things. I think I could take some lessons from Dr. Ditch pickle myself. I though I was the only one who fished for squirrels 😂😂😂

Thanx for watching & commenting. I know, the Doc suggested I try some other baits, sounds like good advice. Those darn trees at that pond have claimed 3 of my lures

That's a productive little pond! I guess the rat heard some commotion in the trees and had to come take a look🤣

Thanx for watching & commenting. Yep, I'm impressed with that pond this year & there are some biggins in there. Hope to find 1 someday.

Chris that blue and silver lure was one I used a lot and had good luck with, sure do miss those days.

That lure has produced good results for me also. Know what you mean about missing those times. When I watch some of my videos, I really remind myself of Dad sometimes...makes me both happy & sad.

Like that pond Chris. Hate the trees😂😂. I’ve got a lot of lures in trees. Tight lines.

Thanx for watching & commenting. I'm doing much better in the pond this year. That was lure #3 I lost to trees there, but already got another

Pond fishing is nice to fall back on, but I prefer the moving waters. Well you got a couple of them. Enjoyed the video Chris.

Thanx for watching & commenting. I definitely prefer fishing the bay for rockfish but sometimes it's just to windy & rough. The ponds are my Plan B

I love the 6 or 7 urban ponds that I fish. Take some time and texas rig a stick bait type worm with a small bullet weight and feel out as much of the bottom that you can. Once you visualize what the bottom looks like you can start targeting the areas that should hold a bass. Great video my friend. Stay safe.

Thanx for watching & the advice. I've actually never fished a Texas rig or used a bullet weight. I've watched people do it on UA-cam. I did a lot of fresh water bass fishing 40 yrs ago in PA, but lures & baits have really changed & improved. Next time I go to the pond, I'm gonna throw some soft plastics

Pond fishing is so much fun! I'd probably tossing some small worms like creme or Mule. and or some small paddle tails like googan saucy and snacky swimmers

Thanx for watching & the advice. I always want to try some soft plastics there, but I'm pretty lazy when it comes to switching lures. Next time I'll start with soft plastics
