@@froggie702 Oh for sure (I own a studio with modular)… I think what I meant at the time was ‘we get to listen for free’… but sure, if you wanna make sounds like that, on a system of that size, I’d say $30k is realistic. I should stop commenting after whiskey perhaps? 😂
I've been studying with this in the background for 4 months now, and it's to the point where I need help focusing if it isn't playing. It's beautiful and not even there all at the same time. It occupies the part of my brain that constantly wants to "side quest" leaving me free to focus on my work.
I’m dealing with chronic pain for the first time and it’s been 10 months now. Your channel helps me escape the physical and spend time with Jesus in The Spirit. Thanks so much !
This spaceship is fabulous, I've been traveling for 25 minutes and it's still good, let's see how far it takes me. Thank you for sharing. Great Performance. 👍👍❤
Okay. First I thank you all for the beautiful comments. Some of you picking out timestamps and say, that you especially like that part. So here is mine. Start listening at 6:30 and wait a bit. At 6:43 there is a little glitch an the beat drops in. Wait wait wait... beat is playing and then!!!! The scream sounds at 6:52 is so beautiful! Let me know what you think. :-)
I listened to this last night while going for a ride and it sounded so good, so detailed and really impressed with the master quality, even though I was streaming from UA-cam over Bluetooth from my phone to car audio system, it just sounded so nice in every way.
I can not describe by words how beautiful this is ..... I am starting to learn about the modulars because I am extremely fascinated by limitless sounds we can create with modular synthesis and I discovered you by accident here on UA-cam. Listening to this mesmerising sounds makes me feel to be back on my beautiful home planet out there in space and I can not stop crying how happy it makes me feel ..... endless happiness and beauty .... I would be so pleased if I could somewhere buy your music and listen to it and play it over and over again....... THANK YOU FOR THIS MODULAR MAGIC 🤍✨
An electronic sound emitting sculpture. An amazing example of the artform, the patience and skill required to create this platform cannot be overstated.
This is fantastic. I have been listening to this while looking at module kits, sorting through BOMs, ordering parts etc. to make my own modules and jump into the rabbit hole of modular. Listening to this makes me feel so inspired.
Plaits into Rings. I know, I know... A million times... M.A. But I did it and the textures are untouchable. Erica synths? Just all of it... but Pico drum with a gate and envelope (dbx 266) is the DANGER ZONE. Some dsp and a little Polivocks... Talking about shake the house. Just a couple tips from my corner of the rabbit hole.
I’m barely getting started listening to this artist for the first time and I get THIS composition to listen. I have been a big follower of electronic music since 1960s many names come to mind. This is awesome.
All of this, but the end especially, is giving off real Caterina Barbieri vibes... I've been gaming to this for the last 4 hours just floating around grinding levels... so good.. thank you Mirko
This is incredible. The depth of atmosphere is intoxicating. Great combination of sequenced and randomized, synthetic and sampled. It is somehow familiar feeling, like a soundscape I didn't know I'd dreamed of has come to life.
How do you even let it decide when to introduce certain elements of the music? is that just purely by random choice? What about the chord progressions? Are they sequenced somehow? What triggers all those other sounds I'm hearing and how are they made? and what about the LFOs that control all the filters? So many questions...
OK people....Wait, stop everything you're doing - take a few mintes and listen.....This is truly exceptional.......................stunningly balanced, nuanced and ephemeral........I haven't heard much that incorporates these elegant 'organic' percussive events as nicely. Great use of the stereo field.......Instant SUB........what an epic series of moments....such dynamics as well...
Amazing generative. It may have a digital heartbeat but the analog is where the soul is. No AI here, Great composition with amazing runs and natural musical sounds. When someone's eurorack component addition turns into our listening pleasure it is a win. Thanks.
I usually do not "gush on the internet" 😁 but holy smokes, Mirko... this is fantastic on so many levels! Starting with the gorgeous setup and film quality, so clear, colorful, and I can actually SEE what's going on! PS: love the bundled, organized cabling, too 🥰 but then, the sound... stunning, and knowing a bit about Modular myself now, I am intrigued and inspired by your brilliant use of random atop a static sequence, and how beautifully they fit together... for 4 hours... I am humbled by your effort and aspire to be this creative, *someday* - Thank you for sharing 💓
I normally just enjoy generative and ambient stuff from a sound design perspective. It's relaxing, but as much as it does sonically it never does much "musically". This... this is different. I don't know how you did it, but this feels like an actual song. It's generating structure along with sound. This is like nothing else I've seen done with modular, and I'm so glad I clicked.
Linked and subbed. Love these generative modular pieces. Always amazing what these synths can do. Fan of synth music since the "moog plays" albums way back in the day.
Thank you for your dedication and hard work. I know synths, and I know what you’re doing is the result of sacrifices over time. I used to do this too, and I will again. Your work is inspiring and encouraging - your lighting and arrangements both in materials and sound is how I’ve dreamed of it and been fortunate enough to have done it also. I used to live in Philadelphia & I got to know Chuck Van Zyl of Star’s End, enjoying many studio performances. I hope your music finds its way into young men’s earphones under the covers on Saturday nights long into the Earth’s future, as Tangerine Dream, Patrick O’Hearn, Ron Berry, Redshift, and many others had found their way to my ears. 🌎
This is amazing. I should leave my DAW running in the background with a generative sequencer and see what it cooked up. I've been experimenting with generators lately and have made decent songs out of them. Def want to learn how to take it more and get more consistent results
No words but great.. 4 hours of pure awesomeness..! I'm at beach alone right now listening to this and it fits perfectly! I just love generative modular music so much and this is the generative paradise..! Thanks a lot!

Don't know if I'm inspired by this or plain depressed and demotivated 😂😂 Sometimes people say "if I had all that gear I would do that to", but if I had all that gear it would just sound like a random R2D2 😂 This is brilliant, beautiful, real, organic, doesn't sound "generative" and/or random, feels like a complete album, a well thought collection of sounds and sequences. This sounds great on crappy cellphone speakers, can't wait to get home and ear it on a proper headphone set Thank you for posting this.

This is incredible. I've just started out in Eurorack and I'm trying to head down the generative route. I've done a couple of patches that I kinda like, but they've all been a little too random. I'm certainly trying to emulate this kind of evolving, but still cohesive sound. Great work 👍
I am really impressed, Mirko. The setup is amazing - not only in terms of audio, also visually very enjoyable. And the music is excellent - as always. Great job.

This was, in all honesty, one of the most beautiful things i ever listened to.
this is why we do modular...its like sonic fractals. amazing textures and shapes resulting in an absolutely mesmerizing and beautiful sonic journey
I love that phrase, sonic fractals
Oh yeah "sonic fractals". Briliant. I swim in the sound, drift away... Lose myself. Calm...
I've never heard it described as sonic fractals. I love it.
Mesmerizing sonic fractals, i love it.
There are many ways to go about sonic fractals, modular is incredible when done well like this!
This is astounding. I feel so lucky to be alive during a time when the history of music can be easily listened to and continuously evolve

Doctorate level synthesis. Master class of composition. NWS approved.
I would pay UA-cam money if they'd let me upvote this set more than once. Great work!
This feels like a fully sequenced piece of music. So good. Can't say I've heard much generative stuff that has accomplished that feeling.
One of (not many) ambient tracks i keep coming back to...all time favourite.
