Oh boy, now I’m going to have to study what is in my stamps! Thanks Ardyth!
Haha! Have fun! Thanks for watching!
I love these ideas and the cards all look different but beautiful. I love the use of the alcohol markers on the stamps spritzed with water. I didn't know you could do this. Thanks so much for sharing and teaching us some amazing techniques and tricks. 🌼
So glad you found it helpful! Thanks so much for watching!
Pt 2 def worth the wait with so much to love. The all green card really hit the spot, though the gel print backgrounds made beautiful cards. Love love the final card's colorful depth and how you found many ways to use tiny stamps. I have one trillium from a friend. It's leaves look like they are inked, then sprinkled with water, quite lovely. I never knew they are special to Ontario. Thanks for all the inspiration you shared Ardeth, I am, as always grateful. ps I have saved parts 1+2 in my "Ardyth Magic" Folder!🌷🌷
Thank you so much for watching!
Loved them all. 🥰💕
Thanks so much for watching!
Wow! Beautiful cards 😍
Thanks so much 😊
I like the background stamp ideas and the canopy stamp. Thanks for the ideas. I especially like the highlighting of the leaves. Great job as usual.

Great pair of videos Ardyth! Lots of great tips and techniques in them. I think all of your cards turned out beautifully, and in fact that background that you were sure if you loved was one of my favorites! You're so talented and I love watching you create!
Thank you so much for such a nice comment!
Beautiful and inspiring! I love the two tone leaf and masked card….will have to try this for sure !!🧑🏼🎨. Always love your work, TY for sharing it! 💗🤗🦋

Thanks so much!
Great cards ! Make me look my stamps From and other perspective ! Thank you ! 💙
Yay! Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful backgrounds! ❤ I love all the different ways you stamped other shapes onto the flower power background stamp by CP. My favorite card was the recessed sentiment one. 😊
Thanks so much for watching!
Your videos are always so informative!! Love these tips!! 😊
Thanks so much!
So many great ideas it's hard to know where to start Ardyth. I really enjoy your channel. Your cards are fabulous - I particularly like that you don't label yourself as a a maker of a specific style of card. You're clear teaching is very much appreciated.
Thank you so much for this kind comment! I really appreciate it!
Great inspiration. My favorite was the black silhouette stamp and the white dots you made. Ingenious!
There are so many little ways you can add or change supplies we have already! Thanks so much for watching!
And, I forgot to say, how absolutely creative to find stamps that filled in the CP background stamp!
I tend to love geometrics and patterns, so I love to look for things that work together like that. Thanks so much for watching!
Great ideas, great cards. Thx Ardyth!
Thanks for watching!
You're really awesome. I think you have such helpful and fun ideas.
Thank you so much! I appreciate your kind words!
Your creativity amazes me.
Thank you so much!
The pattern that looked like water Lillie’s is wonderful. You’ve got me interested in using those stamps.
There's lots of fun in patterns (at least I think so! lol!) Thanks for watching!
Love, love the stencil frames...such a great way to avoid too much bulk. On the hunt for them now. Thanks jean
Hi Jean! There should be links in the description. Thanks so much for watching!
Beautiful. You made a amazing card. Love It
Thank you so much!
I love all of your ideas! Thank you for the awesome inspiration!❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Fabulous cards 🥰 I love your techniques, your color choices and your card designs ❤️ thanks for sharing your creativity Hugs xx
Thank you so much!
Thank you Ardyth! I loved this video too. It is also a greet reminder to “shop my stash”. I have that stamps and haven’t used it yet! Thanks.
Oh, I have those too, but I do love to get out my 'oldies but goodies' from time to time! Thanks so much for watching!
You balance your colours so well I hardly noticed you really had a plan until I looked at the exact way you filled in coloured leaves. Bravo! Soon we’ll have no snow in Ontario. Fingers crossed!
I just came back from Virginia where the trees are starting to blossom - I have hope for the same here soon! Thanks so much for watching!
Great video Ardyth, thank you! I loved the adding extra ink with the marker on the solid stamp and also stamping with the solid stamps on the background stamp. Great!
Thanks so much for dropping by!
THANKS for reminding me about watercolor markers! I have a set that's never been used. OOOPS! I love watercoloring with watercolor pencils, pigment powders, watercolor paint, inks, you name it. And the winner is...the green card with the added marker watercoloring, of course. (I used to think I couldn't watercolor BUT several Van Gogh quotes made me change my mind. Here's one "“If you hear a voice within you say you cannot paint, then by all means paint and that voice will be silenced.”)
That is a great quote and I believe it! Thanks so much for watching!
Another great video. Thank you for sharing. And I love that We R Memory Keepers Turntable. I've never seen that before.
I've always liked the idea of a turntable, and I'm still trying it out (sometimes need to remind myself to get it out), but I do like how it makes it easy to turn things for a more comfy position! Thanks for watching!
Such great ideas, Ardyth! Love your videos :)
Thanks so much! 😊
I love the leaf canopy set….had to get it😊love all of your cards, thank you for sharing❤️
I love it too - it's so versatile! Thanks so much for watching!
As always, you have such great ideas Ardyth. I don’t have many solid stamps, but of course it’s easy to make them by die cutting fun foam and sticking the shapes onto an acrylic block. One of my favourite simple techniques
Oh so clever! You're right! Thanks so much for watching!
Love all of your ideas! ❤
Thanks so much! 😊
Great ideas! Definitely will try the last one.😊
Yay! Thank you!
Ardyth I love all of your card ideas. I can’t wait to try them this weekend
So glad you're feeling inspired! Thanks for stopping by, Ginger!
Great job, you are so inspiring!!
Thank you so much!
Ardyth, I love ALL of these ideas. You're an awesome cardmaker & teacher. Great cards.
Thank you so much! I really appreciate your kind words!
I recently found your channel and I am enjoying watching your videos. I just wanted to say hi to you and let you know how much I appreciate your help in making cards. I live in Ottawa and I get excited still when I find another Canuck online. I shall be watching 😃🇨🇦.
Oh yay! I'm planning to fly (in a small plane piloted by my son) to Ottawa on Wednesday! I'll wave! Thanks so much for reaching out!
Great Cards 😊
Thanks so much!
Those are all incredible! I want to try the last one! Thank you. 🥰
So glad you're feeling inspired! Thanks for watching!
I have some pretty neat backgrounds and bought multiple dies with cowboys, horses and such to use as silhouettes. I love it. I have never tried with plants like you did so that's probably my next step! TFS, Nicole
Thanks so much for watching!
The tone on tone leaf card is my favorite, but love them all.
Thanks so much for watching!
Such great ideas- ty
Thanks for watching!
I love that leaf stamp. . .
It's so classic and versatile! Thanks for watching!
Genius ideas!! You are so creative. I love the last two cards and want to try and make something similar. Thanks for the suggestions and inspiration. 💜
Have fun with it! Thanks so much for watching!
I have that leaf set from Altnew, cannot wait to try it. This tutorial was very well done and the cards you created are beautiful. Tfs
Thank you so much!
Great cards❤
Thanks so much, Linda!
I enjoy your videos
Thanks so much!
Thanks!
Thank YOU! I truly appreciate your support!
Good ideas
Thanks so much!
Love these! ❤ now I have to check out my stamps and background dies to see if I can use them together. Be looking at them in a different way. Thanks for Sharing. Always enjoy your videos.
Thank you so much! I'm glad you're feeling inspired!
Wow! I can’t believe how beautiful these cards were that took so little time! Except the coloring in the backgrounds! That was really amazing but I know I don’t have a large enough stamp stash to do that. I did buy a background stamp set from I believe Maker Forte or Altenew a year or two ago that had the inside stamp to do the exact thing you did. It was planned out to work that way which isn’t near as awesome! I’m convinced anything you have in your hands you can make a beautiful card! I had that leaf cluster set from Altenew on my wish list forever and then thought, how much could I really use it? Well looks like a lot! Gorgeous as always Ardyth! Great job!
I think leaves are a perfect versatile basic to have - you can use them in any season just by changing the colour, they work for masculine, sympathy, backgrounds for florals or critters. Thanks for stopping by, Denise!
I LIKE IT
Thanks so much for watching!
I have the canopy stamp and am excited to try the ‘watercolor’ technique. Thanks Ardyth! Love your cards and tips.🙂❤️
Thanks so much for watching!
Hi Ardyth. I loved how the cards turned out and I love the inspiration and encouragement you share with us all. Thanks so much. 😊🇨🇦
So glad you enjoyed it! Thanks so much for being such a faithful watcher!
Just outstanding! Which technique to try first??? These are some of the best ideas I've seen in a long time.. Thank you, thank you! Love to see what you come up with with background stamps!!! You've set the bar very high with these two videos!
That is a lovely compliment! Thanks so much for watching!
So many creative ideas! Really like the texture on your first card. Can’t wait to experiment with dotted sentiments, and your final card was truly inspiring. Thanks for sharing the fun.
Thanks so much! 😊
OMG Ardith, how amázing are ALL of your cards and ideas, I totally LOVE them all, how mega creative you are and so able to think outside the bix, which is a true gift!! 😘 Thx so much for yet again a fabulous video.
Thanks so much - I really appreciate your taking the time to leave such a nice comment!
Love all of these cards Ardyth! A lot of great tips, especially adding interest on the watercolored leaves with a marker and using other stamps to color in background stamps. Looking forward to seeing what else you come up with on that one!
Thanks so much for watching!
Great video as always & enjoyable to watch. We’re fellow Ontarioans, if that’s a word. I’m in Ottawa & do NOT want to see any more snow: we’re at over 300 cm. Yikes!
Oh man! We didn't get that much, but pretty much everything we got this winter was in the last two weeks, so I'm ready for spring as well! Did I hear that the canal didn't open for skating this year? Thanks for watching!
@@ardyth Yes, that’s correct: no canal skating this year. Unheard of. Curiously, it hasn’t been that cold; I’ve only worn my heavy coat 2-3 times.
Brilliant! I don't know how you do it.
LOL! Thanks so much for watching!
🥰🥰🥰
Thanks so much!
Great ideas! May I ask what black ink you used? Do you prefer it over CP black? Thank you so much!
You know I love CP ink and I love Catherine, but I do not like Midnight. It is archival and I find it thick and a bit messy to work with and I find it difficult to blend with. And it stains your stamps, which I don't hate but I don't love it either. I found that Eclipse Black from Maker Forte is much more like the other CP colours - it's a foam pad, and it blends well. I am finding that I need to reink it a lot, but it's a great all-purpose ink - dark black, crisp but also good with Copics. Thanks for watching!
@@ardyth thank you so much! I am following your lead on inks and am loving CP’s but wanted a basic black that didn’t stain my stamps. I am going to order their black.
Great video as usual! 😀 Question for you: How long have you been using the rotating platform and what is your opinion of it? Is it fairly easy to set your hand on to draw or write? I’m thinking this would be good for zentangling, which requires continual turning of your project.
I got it mid-February, and for me it's really a game changer for colouring and stamping like I did in this video. I'm still getting into the habit of pulling it out when I need it, but it's definitely been worthwhile. I have used a turntable for alcohol inks in the past - also a time when you want to be turning to move the ink around the page, and I think you would find it useful for zentangling. Thanks so much for watching!
Love the cards you made! I wish your videos lasted longer tho!!!!!
That is a lovely compliment! Thanks so much!
Let's hear it for the TRILLIUM !! Woot! Woot ! Great inspiration to try to match your ingenuity and creativity ! Love your videos ! What about a scrapbooking convention in ON similar to the Summit ? You have lots of spare time, right ?
🤣
My friends and I have seriously considered trying to put together an in-person event. It's a lot, as you can imagine. The Summit is virtual so it has the benefit of allowing people from anywhere to join, but I know real-life is very special. Are you close enough to go to Scrapfest in Kitchener (April 14th weekend)? I'll be there on Saturday! Thanks so much for watching!
@@ardyth Oh ! I didn't know it was back ! Unfortunately, I will be unable to make that date this year ! But I will get back on the notification list for events ! Thanks, and have a great time ! Hopefully I'll catch you at the next one for sure !
