- Welcome to Wyoming, times are hard and I need to get back on my feet, I've headed to Wyoming where my crazy uncle left me a plot of land, unfortunately, most of it is Bighorn Lake which isn't helpful, but we've got to find out what we can do to start making money and surviving...
We're playing on Elk Mountain, Wyoming from Elk Mountain Modding, It hasn't been released yet but keep an eye on Elk Mountain Modding's Facebook page for more info and to download once it's launched.

I'm almost hoping that we don't get a livestream for this series just so that fsg gets a chance to edit around the things that would otherwise take away from the emersion.... But being here all the way from the bull gap days, I'm sure this is going to be a banger on this channel

@Marvin37, Im hoping that FSG doesn't do live streams for this series as well. I really enjoyed Bulls Gap but the live streams just killed the whole immersion for me
Having lived in Wyoming for 18 years, I can tell you, you're gonna need all you can to survive. If you want some realism, I would throw in windstorms or something that knock over trees or pile up snow against doors or something. I think that'd be fun to see in game. Have fun in Wyoming!

Whenever I watch these I realize how Giants and the community could benefit from Scenarios. I love how you've taken the game mechanics and built different stories and constraints that breathes new life into the game.
I'd love to see a story mode in future games

@@TheFarmSimGuy The disc is set up as a shallow harrow, not a cultivator :( Never tried to create fields with it. I will check if I can change that for the future.
Interesting the create field option shows up in the F1 menu, which it doesn’t usually if it’s not a compatible implement there’s what threw me

The extent of my knowledge of Wyoming is that one Jontron clip "It's literally america's least populated state, 80% of the population is just hostile winds!" (Shows lorry almost being flipped on a turn by said wind). However, while I don't know the place, I do love the idea for the plot, looking forward to episode 2!

Nicely done! I just stumbled across your channel and really enjoyed the episode. I was actually getting ready to start a save myself on this map. Starting off with absolutely nothing and an old International tractor, very interesting. I cannot wait to see the rest of this series.

I wish this was a game mode it looks so fun to start with castoffs and stuff and work your way up. FS22 vanilla is just too complex for me to get into but i've watched so many of these kinds of videos it looks fun.

My family owns an IH 706. It's a great tractor, just about perfect for doing hay work. Though she needs some TLC, badly. Gonna have to do an engine tear down and replace some burnt valves. That's gonna be fun (not). FS19 had a 706/806 on one of the mod sites, and I immediately downloaded it, it's a bit rough, the back tires don't get dirt on them like the rest of the tractor and clip-through equipment when you turn sharply. But it's a nice little mod and it's fun to drive my tractor around in the virtual world trying out different equipment on it that I will never get to use in the real one.

@@TheFarmSimGuy Yeah, a lot of farmers in my area are still using older equipment. I tend to see a lot of IH and older John Deere's on the road doing hay work. Unfortunately, those same farmers are getting pretty old and there aren't a lot of younger farmers around to replace them as they pass away. So when they do pass, developers tend to swoop in and subdivide their farms. It's heartbreaking watching it happen. But land prices are too high for me to be able to buy any more land.

I can't get my washplant generator (or any of the generators) to accept diesel. How were you able to do it??

If you use the Buy Production inputs mod you can add Diesel straight into them through the production menu 👍

YES YES YEEESS I told you you would do a Survival Series on this map, it is too stunning and amazing not to do some sort of series on. Love the Story so you took your Millions from Bull Gap and thought you could strike it rich with Cyrpto but you bought at the top and lost 3/4 of your money then thinking you are a savvy investor thought you could try your hand a stocks and lost your shirt there too is that what happened?

Love the finding jems in the Junk at Jebs place and then that C70 Chevy Grain Truck has that famous Detroit Diesel engine that we all love and enjoy hearing like the Old Mack Truck you useds in Bulls Gap can't wait to see how this series keep up the amazing work Cheers =)

What you should do for realism is place down a ton of houses on the lake you inherited, to sell to commifornia transplants. Then put
$20mil in your account and buy some farm ground farther out

If you download the “buy production inputs” mod you can add in diesel that way or grab the diesel tank mod that’s in miscellaneous items 👍

Some of them were Jim, I added the others, and just landscaped some bushes around them, the links to the mods are in the description so you should be able to recreate it quite easily 👍

Fantastic start🤩looking forward to next one😀Absolutely fantastic map. I heard that Elk Mountain modding is working with Giants to get this out on console? Certainly some changes has to be made in the name of licenses, Terrafarm and other stuff, but 4x🤔

What mods do you have installed to do this, I love the gold mining as a real life miner this is too cool!
All the mining mods (foe the production side) are built into the map, you’ll need TerraFarm and some trucks to excavate the dirt and move it 👍

Is anyone else not able to hear the international Farmall tractors and if so does anyone know how to fix it?
I've not had any issues myself, not sure where you downloaded them from but I have a link to the modders page where I downloaded mine from and they seem to be good
@@TheFarmSimGuy hmmm yeah I think it's not a mod conflict because it doesn't have any sound even when in game by itself and I got it from JCL's Itch.io Page. So honestly I have no idea.
