This is one of those commen sence tips that ,when you hear it the first time ,you wonders why such a simple jugad did not occur to you till in the first place . Anyways great tip doc . I will not be buying ivoclean anymore .

I just use ivoclean. Yes, it’s expensive but it only takes 20s has a great colour and my assistant loves doing it for me. When it runs out I will try Naocl. What concentration do u recommend?
Sounds like a plan... 3-5% for a few seconds is all it takes

Do we need to apply silane primer to the inner surface of zirconia crown ..after etching with hydrofluoric acid ?
Beautibond from shofu is it enough to apply it on the tooth and cure it before luting zirconia monolith with dual cure ? Eagerly waiting for your reply
Zirconia crown internal surface treatment for final cementation:1.Naocl 5% or ivoclean (ivoclar)20 sec 2.sandblast with 50μ Al particles
3.Steamclean or supersonic with alchool 4.Apply Mdp primer(i use scotchbond universal ) if you bond with luting cement without mdp(see the instructions),if you use luting cement with mdp(again see the instructions) you don't need The mdp primer.5 Apply the dual curing cement to the crown and that's it.Hope i helpedgreetings from Greece

Yes. But cleaning with sodium hypochlorite is much cheaper.

Feel free to use resin provided you have surface treated the zirconia.
we don't etch zirconia crown with Hydrofluoric acid as it will weaken the bond. Then, is there a need for silane application to the sandblasted crown and etching ,bonding of tooth surface prior to bonding with resin?
Sure... That would be recommended for zirconia bonding to tooth...

zirconia has a very high tendency to bond with phosphate.this phosphate can be of phospholipids exist in saliva or the phosphate comes from phosphoric acid, so after trying it is contaminated with saliva and to remove its bonding, it should be sandblasted and never cleans with phosphoric acid. my question is ,to bond zirconia with cements we should use resin cements which contain MDP or zinc phosphate cements which contain phosphate group? is it right ???

NaOCl removes d biofilm from d inside of zirconia crown thereby improving bond strength with resin cement
Not really... Hence NaOCl is for use with dual cure resin cements only

I've had 2 decementation of zirconia crowns. In both cases I was using resin cement.
Time to pre-treat with NaOCl... 👍🏼
Check the luring surface and see if it looks glazed or rough.
