Hi. It looks like a great tutorial, but after two hours of testing I have to ask. After plugging in the phone, it still says that I don't have any drivers. I have a Xperia ZX premium G8142 phone
Tutorial is TOP! BUT -> Outdated If you download new Magisk it wont support the Magisk you used in Root Kernel. It will prompt an error. "This version is not compatible with magisk version under V.xx" - Than I downloaded Magisk App you used and tried with it. After clicking on the App, selecting the OK on the coming prompt it reboots and than after clicking again on the Magiskapp it still prompts the additional setup. Again and Again.. Regardless how often I try. How do I inject the kernel with new Magisk before flashing? @Ut Someta THX!!
Does ur link also work for g841 version ??? And where did u get it? I couldn't find it on xda. And one more question - do u have to root ur phone before installing custom rom?
@@rULo023 , I still don't know what SOMETA is, but if u wanna install a custom rom, do following : 1) backup drm keys ( u have to do that, unless u don't need Sony's features and stock album app 2) unlock bootloader 3) flash twrp 4)find a custom rom 5) flash the custom rom u have found 6) flash magisk, in case u need root access
Hi. I have qn. Qn1. You have to unlock bootloader before doing what u did in here, right? Qn2. Is it possible to root with locked bootloader? Qn3. You loose drm keys right after you unlock you bootloader. Your phone has no original drm keys, right?

Yes flashmode is only for flash firmware or boot, but fastboot can root or cmd or unlocked bootloader

My device is unlocked bootloader.
Required unlock bootloader to root.
U will lose DRM but everything is work fine with Android pie
