that super tall rectangle building you see the whole first part of the video in the distance, that is a condo building (432 Park Avenue Condos) and the condo at the very very top is about $82,000,000 or more.
It is a wonderful piece of art. excellent video!!!. I watched it from the beggining to the end. The audio and images were great. Congratulations for your dedicated and awesome job.
Thank You very much J Utah, You took me back to to NYC in nintees. I used to drive in NYC up and down , day and night. It was so much fun to drive in NYC. I drove in NYC for almost eight years. Know each and every corner of NYC. What a great place to be in. SImply mind blowing city in the world. Thanks dude .
Great videos, thank you for transporting us in so many desirable places. A small suggestion: having a map of the route, either superimposed in a corner of the video or in the description would help the viewer better orient himself in the city. Keep up the good work!
Nice to see Park Avenue again. I lived in Manhattan for many years but don’t go in anymore there’s too much crime and because of Covid. But there was a time when walking around the city was absolutely exhilarating and exciting so many cool people, places to go, and things to do. I really miss that and hope it comes back to the way it was. My prayers for all who live there now to do so safely and in good health. By the way you really get around, don’t you.,
Excellent work, J! I think your next stop should be Madison, Wisconsin. Supposed to be one of the best downtowns in America. It's sandwiched in between two lakes.
Frederick0220 I went to school in Wisconsin...I can’t recommend Milwaukee lol but Madison is nice! If you’re ever in Wisconsin, Lake Geneva is nice too!
I keep meaning to ask, are you a teacher or work in the school system at all? I notice the majority of your uploads are during the summer and sporadic during the rest of the year. Just curious. Good long video too:)
I ❤️❤️❤️ New York 😊😊💯💯 I lived in lower Manhatten a long time ago, promotional job opportunity, I loved it, came back to San Francisco when project was completed! I was set up in a beautiful suite near Battery Park as part of my compensation, wonder if my favorite Irish pub is still there - what fun memories 😊😊😊😊
FanStormZ idk crazy guy maybe i had a guy jump infront of me once to get insurance money but i had a dash cam so he was out of luck lol i let him play it out though untill we got to court and told the judge i had a camera the guys face was pricless
people have always been mostly nice to me there and the traffic is nowehere near as bad as LA - but it doesn't even matter because you just use subway to get anywhere
Distant Travels don’t forget the hyper gentrification kicking out all the natives and immigrants who didn’t move there rich to replace them with trust fund hipsters 🙈
Ka Gala, literally every big city is gentrifying itself, they have to. If you were a mayor, would you rather have rich, young hipsters with lots of money to spend living in your city, or people of lower income? the answer is clear.
Patrix542 traffic in LA moves way better than what I’m seeing in this video. Even when i do hit traffic in LA it’s nothing compared to NY traffic jams.

I have always dreamed about NYC but this looks like hell, yellow Toyotas everywhere, was thinking why was n't there a tram running up and down that wide street. Interesting film though even if it was a bit of an anti climax.
Interesting you bring up the taxis. Personally, I miss the days when they were rear-drive, V8-powered Chevys, Fords, and Dodges, but I get that times change and it actually makes that NYC uses Camrys and Pruises now given the environmental and financial concerns. Bedsides, a V8 is also kind of a waste in a city with this kind of traffic unless it's a police car or something.
Seen the Helmsley building at 18:37 and thought of Leona Helmsley the real-estate tycoon known for her flamboyant personality and her reputation for tyrannical behavior, earning her title Queen of Mean.
Bicuclists and pedestrians ignoring traffic signals and crossing in the middle of the street could drive you crazy. Plus double parked cars are everywhere.
Don't get me wrong, but in NYC there are too many unrestored, gritty buildings that doesn't fit the urban landscape. It's a pitty that such a great wealthy city with so many private investors doesn't get enough investment to renovate/rebuild those beautiful buildings.
The buildings are old, and protected by strict building code. You can't just work on a building even if you got the funding. Especially in these historic districts of Manhattan. The "gritty" buildings is what makes NYC, NYC. If you wanna see only shinny new buildings, go to Dubai.
You haven't understood me .I'm not talking about destroying them,in fact,I think they're quite beautiful.I'm talking about restoring them, about quitting the air conditioners, about cleanning the gritty facades. Moreover NYC has also shiny new buildings that mixed with the historical architecture make the city one of the world's best. And if you're not able to understand what I'm talking about,go to Chicago,Boston, London or any city of Central Europe.
I feel like the old, gritty buildings is what gives NYC it's character, it's what gives it that classic "east coast" look, like Philadelphia, or Chicago, or Boston. Old buildings give cities their character and it tells a story about the city's past.
You mean 432 Park Ave? That's only the beginning, soon there will be a sea of super tall skinny billionaire condos. Look up Steinway tower and central park tower, they will be built by 2020.
MARC SMITH The drive south on Park Avenue is the Upper East Side. If you notice, at one of the stoplights, the cross street was 85th at one and I think 68th at another. Also, if you are familiar with the area as I am, you see the Met Life building in the center in the distance. That's located at Park and 45th. That's only 12 blocks south of the southern border of the UES. I usually walk down Madison to the Starbucks at 49th ALL the time. I'm in the east 60's when I'm in town.
km most beautiful and business active city on Earth is Paris, capital of Europe, capital of science, fashion, lot of history more than your shitty usa could imagine, best traffic system, much more safer than Nyc and La Defence biggest business district in Europe.
Well look at the roads. Reckless taxi drivers, stoplights every intersection. Lots of pedestrians. No Lane adherence. Also there is probably expensive parking. It's more fiscally smart to just use the subway/take the taxis/walk to your destinations.
nobody drives bro! I live in Jersey and driven many times in the city, but it's less stressful if you take mass transit. Granted there are headaches with as well, but most people don't drive in, because it can be stressful as hell. Patience is key in the city if your driving. Or get a bike and stroll the city. Just my 2cents
You don't know that, you've never been to New York. Also, Paris is JUST as filthy as New York and probably MORE crime infested with all the gypsies and pick-pockets, and the Metro smells much worse.
what a joke, millioners. Paris is a city with great history, capital of fashion, art, finance center etc.... if you like Mumbai live there, but why lot of indians live in France? thinking about that.
European cities look similar too lol. Zurich looks like Dublin which looks like a smaller Berlin they all just have trains that run through them. Sad how US can build hundreds of cities especially since Europe has thousands of years on it. US cities arent the same btw you'd know if you actually go.
NYC IS BY FAR BETTER THEN YOUR PARIS AND WHOLE LOT MORE INVESTED, YOUR SO DUMB YOU THINK MANHATTAN IS THE CITY WHEN ITS THE BOROUGH WITH IN THE CITY. LMAOOO

It will be outshined by Steinway tower that will be completed next year.

Is it just me or traffic seems chaotic?
I have always dreamed about NYC but this looks like hell, yellow Toyotas everywhere, was thinking why was n't there a tram running up and down that wide street. Interesting film though even if it was a bit of an anti climax.
Well it's NYC. You aren't really supposed to drive. People use the subway and walk not a tram.
Thanks, just a shame you don't get the views when you are on the subway.
Try Phnom Penh bro.
Interesting you bring up the taxis. Don't get me wrong, but in NYC there are too many unrestored, gritty buildings that doesn't fit the urban landscape. It's a pitty that such a great wealthy city with so many private investors doesn't get enough investment to renovate/rebuild those beautiful buildings.
Salva Orduña or their subway system!

В начале всё летело, а потом...
Thats not Upper East side....wrong title....Park Ave. Drive should be better

I feel like being in china. No one follows the lanes. No biker follow the lights.
You mean every big city on earth?

Dmytry B Shit an angry anti USA person
这就是纽约
New York is very bad... we can't even drive our car !!!!
Then don't drive your car. Most people don't there.
Wesley Tran why

have you ever been in Paris? no? its your wrong opinion, nyc just big fashion created ghetto, Paris is much more comfortable and luxurious for life
Dmytry B Then why is there more billionaires and millionaires in NYC? Why is NYC a More important financial center than Paris? Paristan is boring.
