the video adds positively to how i felt about the song prior to the video. fantastic. this is MOGWAI. room for thought because they aren't trying to impress. they are excellent musicians with awesome taste in sound.

Wouldn't exactly call this mainstream, but they got rid of some of the industrial sound from their past productions and make more melodic music now. I personally like it a bit more than the old stuff.

Between this, Ritchie Sacramento and Hunted by a Freak, Mogwai seem to be developing an obsession with gravity and its reversal - not sure what it's all supposed to mean, but it goes really well with the uplifting quality of Mogwai's music, seeing them live was the closest my materialist atheist mind will ever get to a religious experience. If this is the soundtrack to the rapture I can't wait to be proven wrong

One day I went to a Mogwai show in Montreal and I understood that heavy loud sounds entering ears can be a very intense emotions generator.
Even on iPad speakers this song makes the hairs on my neck stand.
