Tesla, the automaker sponsor of the Darwin Awards
That’s pretty convenient. Usually, people have to do that kind of thing unassisted.
Death by GPS?!? 😂 😂 😂
There is even an episode of The Office where Michael drives into a lake because his GPS told him to turn.
Tesla Autopilot: for those who want their own unguided missile.
If the Tesla did encounter a Train does it know to throw it in reverse and floor it backwards?
driving hands free... and brain free
Let's go... idiots will always make excuses but shout out yo Tesla for having all these clones in the matrix with everybody driving and looking the same 😂
Stupid driver. Tesla is also to blame.
Drivers are responsible for their cars actions.
They are a lot different because navigating tells where one should drive, but driver is one that has to do the actual driving. Tesla in other hand claims that the car is capable to do the job alone, and some people believe to Elons lies. Therefore for the safety of all people I think the best would be to ban the Tesla until they delete whole self driving lies, and if they don’t do that, then total recall of all Tesla Vehicles. One human life is more important then all Teslas together.
😂
Tesla never accepts responsibility, it’s always operator/driver error . The error of the driver is choosing Tesla
😎
😂 too much Tesla news content lately , I can’t keep up with the jokes
Spoiler alert, Tesla is testing new vehicles that travel by rail...it needs some work...
To drive on the tracks the driver had to manually turn the vehicle and then engage autopilot.
Autopilot does zero route planning.
It was a human driver who decided it was a good idea to drive on railroad tracks not the vehicle.
Maybe don't sleep in a moving automobile? 🖕🤡🤣😂
I tested the FSD on my '24 Tesla Model Y for about 5 mins. It was like letting a 16 year old driver on their first road lesson. I bought the vehicle for other reasons than FSD, thankfully.
First, Autopilot is the free driver assistance tool that only uses lane markings to steer. It cannot make decisions like following a train track, it will simply disengage.
FSD can do this, however any driver in a car using FSD can disengage at any time, like when your car nav takes the wrong route.
This is a made up story, not real. If it happened then the driver did it on purpose to get clicks.
So this person made no attempt to correct the cars system knowing it was driving onto the trains?!
Maybe owners need to take a basic IQ test before being allowed to own a self driving car.
Autopilot did not turn onto the train tracks the human driver did.
Who
In their right mind would turn and drive a car into railroad tracks?
I own a tesla You can not operate auto pilot without your hands on the wheel it beeps at you loudly and then shuts off the autopilot after the second warning. Also, my Tesla auto drives after I enter the destination, so the vehicle maps out its route on the highway. The driver should have been able to see that it was going off of a roadway. I think that obviously the Tesla has some responsibility, but you are still operating a vehicle. The driver is responsible.
For sure didn't happen on autopilot. This car was operated by a human.
How did they get that far and not realize???? It’s not autopilots fault. Blame it on nincompoop humans.
The car did error, it was the driver. I get it, blame the victim.
Elon is having a laugh 🤭 !
😂😂😂😂
Maybe he should not been sleeping
Guns don't kill people, people do.
interviewing elon fan bois is top notch journalism!
Autopilot is not smart
Outrageous....
O my gawd....
LOL😂😂😂
Hahhahahahahhahahha
How come autopilots are still legal?
*Small we nears of lawmakers is to blame*
huh
Sweet!
This is why self driving cars are disastrous
How dumb does a driver have to be to drive a car onto railroad tracks. RAILROAD TRACKS…. Oh, California, that explains everything.
Found the guy who doesn't live in California, yet is an expert on it. :) "Don't tread on me" people are the first to tell others how to live.
Driver license should be suspended.
Nikola Tesla would be proud
He should be.
In jail
He was a Asleep so that should be in jail
