twisted was so much better than the live action Beauty and the Beast because I actually cried multiple times in Twisted but with Beauty and the Beast I was only disappointed.

Yeah, pretty much.
Though overall it wasn't _horrendous_, just not what I expected.
In my mind, there were only a few things they _needed_ to get right, and they knocked nearly all of them out of the park. The _one_ exception was Emma Watson, whom the film doesn't even try to pretend can't sing for s***, but the 2017 version of "Gaston" was the _better_ one and you can fight me on that.

There always seem to be one who haven't watched whatever they're retelling to their best recollection and it's amazing, Jeff's retelling was better than the live action remake of Beauty and the Beast
Also Jamie's enthusiasm and Nick's Oscar-worthy impressions throughout all of these videoes are amazing.

Every time I watch these videos I try to pick a favorite of the group and every time I just can't pick. Their summaries are all so fantastic in their own unique ways, from the salt over Emma's "struggling" career, to opening with the exact opening to Cats, to making up their own songs and plots, to the sunglasses, to the awful impressions and offscreen laughter....

Agreed. That's probably my greatest qualm with the remake; the movie doesn't even try to pretend she can sing for s***.

Jon: Award for going into the most detail about certain parts.
Jaime: Award for the most enthusiastic impressions.
Lauren: Award for retelling the story the best.
Jeff: Award for having no idea what the fuck is going on but going along with it.
One of my favorite scenes in the original and the stage play is Beast gifting Belle the library, because he knows she'll love it, though it means little to him, and her teaching him to read so they can both enjoy it. The live action movie took the heart of that scene away by making him give it to her with a shrug, because "he's already read them."
bluefox99887 to be fair, in the remake, it’s clear that Adam pre-beast was already like a grown man (not exactly sure what age he was in the original before he was turned) so to make him uneducated in this one would have been kinda odd. Plus, I think Belle and the Beast’s humor was more mature and maybe even a little dry in the remake and it was still early before he had fully realized his feelings for her so he will still a semi-jerk. Just my view of the change in that, but I do agree it was really precious in the original
