I always wear my puffy coat when sleeping in the cold. I did talk about it when recording, but edited that out. But, yes, it is another variable if looking at the listed temperature rating. 🤙🍻

The aegis max has an extra large version as well. It's black, my son who is tall owns one. It's a decent piece of gear for the money. Which has gone up quite a bit since it was purchased years ago. Nice test Mark, I thought you looked cold as soon as you were laying in bed/hammock. The end was a catchy little tune.
I was cold at first because everything sat in the cold for two hours before I climbed in. The Aegismax is super impressive. I hope you’re well Mike! Do you recognize the location? 🤙

This item is great...for the late spring to early fall with temps to the low 40's...that is all. Used this on a section between unicoi and dick's creek on the AT and the temps dropped into the teens and almost froze. Never again will I try to use this item in cold temps....not worth it.
The teens!?! That would be friggin cold in the aegismax...even for us northerners who can handle the cold.
