My first bike was a huffey.. but it served its purpose till I was able to save up enough money to get the mongoose bluemax.. That was a cool bike, but it wasn't as cool as all the GT's, Redlines and Better Mongoose bikes in town. The Formula I came out and NOBODY had a Diamond back in my little town. Having the F1 was my dream. By god, I had it by the end of the summer. That was a lot of lawn mowing, but when I rolled up on the F1 finally. I was a GOD! I was a little guy already, so, having the F1 complemented me well. I could get mad speed quick and insane air once I mastered the bike. I loved it. That was 37-38 years ago.. One of my favorite days in my life. :)
I can't believe it I found an original Diamondback in good nick had to buy it £45 pounds in a charity shop.. amazing...I'm 52 so I lived it breathed it back late seventies and eighties...I feel like I've found my youth again..best days ever ...or am I having a nervous breakdown hahaha...but it's all coming back ...shit you can't get the bits I'm trying to remember all the names we called stuff... anyway I've subscribed to you mate ... anything considered from you guys just cleaning then chrome makes me feel soo happy..is this weird...we had the best days ever in the seventies early eighties mate ...take care everyone..👍👍😋

You have a lot of cool 80s stuff, the intro looks old, it’s awesome, almost threw me off until I spotted the Jordan 1s that didn’t come out until 85. Your bikes are amazing, love the bmw videos
This is great!! My first real BMX bike was a 1984 Formula One. My parents bought it new for $350. I sold it in 2004 for $250. It was still in great shape! Mine had chrome wheels with spokes instead of mag wheels though. Great video.
I have a 1997 diamondback reactor with 7005 heat treat aluminum frame and chromoly bars and forks what’s it worth andnis it worth adding certain parts ? It’s all original
Hello Ed, quick question for you..... how do you read the serial number on a Diamond Back ? Meaning how do you know the year and line of Diamondback by looking on the serial number.
if you told me what you paid, Id believe you- I bought a 87 GT performer from a kid riding down the street on it one day for less than 100 bux ...this was about 2 yrs ago...got a mongoose kick scooter from same kid ..30 bux :)
