@@dre27321 I think that in an effort to appear more healthy, many restaurants ommit MSG in powder form, especially the most expensive ones, and substitute it with ingredients that naturally contain MSG for the umami taste. The powder form is completely safe too, before anyone asks, it's just extracted and crystalized from some foods.

I live in texas and we also have a fry daddy. Its the only way my nana would make me chicken nuggs.
To be fair though, frozen Gyoza is just fresh Gyoza that has not been cooked yet so its not surprising that tasted the best since it was just cooked instead of being reheated / delivery.

The more Rhett talks about this camping trip the more I want it to happen and a massive vlog to come from it.....
I think the store bought has an advantage in this format. One big thing that separates the fancy places is freshness. By the time your staff has it delivered to the studio and it sits around for an hour or so until you film, it's lost a lot of it's freshness.

They brought it up because the sea food they were eating reassembled the style of that place they were talking about. Stevie ended up mentioning that that's where their next camping trip should be

Fun fact, Ajinomoto is the original maker of MSG, patented in 1909, & Ajinomoto means "essence of taste". They also make frozen Japanese fried rice or "Yakimeshi", as well as a frozen noodle dish as well, & they are both pretty tasty
