When someone told the Elder Pitt how wonderful it was that George had six sons, Pitt retorted that they were 'The damnedest set of millstones to be put around the necks of this nation! As indeed they were!!
I was born and raised in Mount Vernon Va. The home of George Washington. In school we really never learned about the Royals..we knew we were fighting England and King George but our history books were making heros out of country men and ladies..I was born in 67 so perhaps the new history books are different. UA-cam has really opened my eyes to the 🦬💩 of our education system..lol
Nope not really sorry to say I was born in 83 and had to look all this up myself and even times when I didn't know something I didn't my own research at times I would get low grades at first for being historically inaccurate but then again I would also document in my papers where I got my research and then my grades changed when I had to school my teacher's they didn't like me so much for that one
They got the information from Europe 👈😂 like this lady they LIED she is pretending like these people were good leaders. Dig deeper the truth is there. Many wrote about it
I went to school in the US and Oz. The history I learned in Oz barely mentioned the American Revolution, except to say that in supporting it, the French King lost his head (very Anglocentric education at the time). And the US classes mentioned the King only insofar as the Declaration of Independence did. I didn’t receive unbiased, or less biased, history education until university.
I always love retouching on what i had to teach myself ...american history books leave out quite a lot and i swear rhat is one reason why my teachers really disliked me at times because i often had to school them and of course gave my resources but at times my teachers didn't want to recheck my work rhey would give me a lower grade because how dare a 5th grader know more than the teacher
My great grandfather x5 was 15 when he left. They were terrible leaders selfish horrible people. My grandfather recorded his life and deaths of his family members starved to death in the streets. He sold himself to a ship to leave. There are many records of the truth. The reasons misinformation is spread is because Europe lies to cover the horror. Those lies carry across the world. The original lie started in Europe 👈 and like cancer is spread. Even this creator is trying to make people feel empathy for horrible times. Carrying the lie further into the future.

The colonists flipped out when the king tried to pass laws protecting the native people...😅😂 Sorry, obviously im a Yankee, and that opinion and turn of history is beautifully hilarious❤ So far highly entertaining video, well done, thank you 💜💜
Christians in Germany began bringing trees indoors in the 16th c. Martin Luther added lighted candles to simulate starlight twinkling through the branches. In the 18th c. Queen Charlotte decorated a small yew tree for her children at Christmas. In the Victorian era, Prince Albert popularized the tradition of decorating a fir tree for Christmas in England. It began as a German custom.
I cannot listen to any more mispronounced words. The rule for voice-over is to read through the script first, look up the words you don't know, and THEN...listen to the playback. You CAN re-record segments. You don't have accept the 1st attempt!!! The repeated content--I suppose to lengthen the video--is annoying, as well.
As much as i love history i found that the delivery of this was not engaging and left me bored. I ditched after 6 or so minutes preferring to read about this subject on my own. Sorry😢😢

@@marylandrie4 way to go for tagging your research. I had to use encyclopedias that were written by the same people. It's amazing..
And you're depending on this video to give you accurate information? 😂

Maybe you should learn to write and capitalize proper nouns and "I." And punctuation, too.

Ouch. Are you equally offended by the mispronunciation of words by our well informed narrator?
Nevertheless,narrator, enjoyed your talk.

Thank you as always ❤️
I always thought that it was Prince Albert who introduced Christmas trees to the UK
You meant Louis XVI, not XV, correct?
How many portraits did this man have painted for f himself?!?!?
🤭
