I quite literally have zero intention of building anything, nor do i have the space or tools to build anything that 'she who should be obeyed' might like me to construct and she thinks I am crazy spending my time watching your videos, but I thoroughly enjoy watching all of them, purely for my enjoyment. Keep up the good work.

I thought that static electricity was playing its part so ran a line of sticky foil tape along the run and grounded it on the Axminster cyclone- no more static and dust buildup greatly reduced. I’ve been saying for a year and a half that I’m going to change my workshop layout. I believe I am ready to get started. One reason I haven’t done it is because I hurt my back in June last year when I was getting started. Then it was just one thing after another. But another really big reason is…. I just don’t know what I want to do. There are things I like about my layout. There are things I hate. But the biggest issue is that it’s just not efficient. And stuff is everywhere. Going to do a big clean up today to get started.

Thank you for another great video; entertaining and inspirational.
It looks like an efficient layout. The dust extraction corner and ducting runs are very compact and neat.
Rotating the table saw and router table looks like a good decision considering the table saw is on casters. The door for maintenance and cleaning can be accessed by moving it away from the wall as you did for a long cross cut.
It might not make for interesting viewing but I would like to know a bit more about your thought process and decision making when planning this move please. Did you just plan to accommodate the major issues and accept having to solve minor issues as you work through the move?

Hiya Mr Brown, i only found you recently but immediately subscribed as i like what you do!
I was wondering (roughly) what part of Norfolk you are in as i have lot of sorting to do in the coming few months in my partners barn which contains more stuff than you can shake a stick at, including lots of wood, some of which is past its best but also some i have salvaged some hard woods included, i was a wood machinest when leaving school and then shopfitter etc, i have always had an affinity for wood, plus im a hoarder and at nearly 60 yrs old need to thin out somewhat!? Haha!
There is also a really old school belt driven table type saw that takes 24in blades that i thought you might like to see, its working i believe although lots crap around it at mo!
The barns were inherited by my partner whos father was a farmer and died about 3 yrs ago at age of 94, so he really was old school!
I know the wood is of a lot of value these days and often hard to obtain, im not looking for payment would just rather it be used than burning to dispose of!
There may also be some old school woodworking hand tools that belonged to her father from another barn, but thats me speculating at the moment, would need to run that past her!?

@@RagnBoneBrown When using a power socket you must focus on how much energy is passing through it and not how many devices are plugged to it. Plugging a device to it won't consume any current if the device is powered off (nothing will be passing through the socket). For instances, suppose that you plug a HUNDRED 15A machines to a single 16A power socket. You could think "oh my it will be 1500A of consume and it will melt the socket down!" but in fact it's not true. If you power on just ONE machine at a time it will be only 15A of consume because all the other 99 machines will be off and won't consume anything. Got the point?
