Wow! You are a very talented finisher! Baker's Wife is STUNNING in that frame! It is totally perfect! You found some perfect frames at Michael's too! They are really getting a great variety for finishing. Thank you for the inspiration to get those under the bed box things finished!! Happy stitching! - Laura
Amanda, you did FANTASTIC on everything 🎉 Ellie and I watched you as we ate lunch and I think there was more watching than eating. Ellie loved EVERYTHING you did (and I did too) including the Fairy on the Moon with the black cat…guess who’s searching for that kit and an appropriate piece of linen 😂 the Baker’s wife PHENOMENAL ❤ great video!
Your finishes are all amazing and what's even more amazing is how quickly you FFO'd them! The blue conversion of the Mirabilia is so pretty in the oval frame. And the one piece that you stitched while your mom was in the hospital is so pretty. Flowers in bloom always symbolize new possibilities, and as much grief was woven into that fabric, I also view it as new possibilities for moments together and new memories being made. Thanks for sharing all of your pretties! I'm sure your son is happy, too!
Thanks Wendy! That's a great way of looking at it. I tried to spin it in a positive way as it was her survival piece but I like the "new life" description. My son followed me around yesterday while I put them up but would freak out if I took something down to replace with one of the stitched pieces. He was like "oh no, you can't do that!"😂 I wasn't messing with him...I promise.🤣
So impressive, Amanda! You are an inspiration to us all! That Baker's Wife finish is stunning. I really love the blue conversion, and that frame is exactly right for it. Perfection!
Your finishes are inspiring!! Love every single one. Baker’s Wife is the most gorgeous fully finished stitched piece I have ever seen. Your LBP fancy lady ornament is also just stunning. Beautiful work, and thanks for all the tips, tricks and lessons learned! ❤
I love your bakers wife. I’m in the fb group but can’t seem to find the conversion to blue that you did. Any tips on how to find the conversion? Thank you!
Love the oval one so much! The blue lady! Wow! Frame is perfect. And the dimensions piece today’s the end with the ornate frame…perfect frame for that! Thx for sharing. I love to see finish parades!
Oh my gosh, what a wonderful parade of finishing! You should be proud! I'll bet your son will be a big help when you start hanging them up. It was great to see your video today! Happy Stitching!
Wow! You are not only an amazing stitched but also an amazing framer and finisher. I absolutely love The Baker's Daughter. I hope when you get your pieces back from the framer that you will come back and show us. Thank you for all you share and taking the time to do so. You are so inspirational to me and one of my favorite channels. I hope you have a wonderful time at your retreat. Take care.
Amanda, You FFF, 😂. I have enjoyed my time with you this evening. Particularly love your oval framed Mira Bakers Wife. I am also going to check out your Ornament finishing vid.
Always such an inspiration, Amanda! And WOW that Baker's Wife is absolutely incredible!! She looks sooooo good ahhh! ❤❤❤ Thank you for sharing with us.
Congrats on getting almost all of your pieces finished and out of the box. They are all really beautiful and perfectly finished. The frame for the lady in the moon is absolutely perfect! I enjoyed watching this video.
Amanda...your finishes are gorgeous! I saw them on Instagram but they really standout on FT. Well done for getting them all done, me on the other hand......
Hi Amanda! I just found your channel and subscribed….love your work and finishes!❤ The blue Baker’s wife is amazing! I wasn’t able to find it on the Facebook page. Can you tell me who did the conversion…maybe I’m spelling their name incorrectly…? Thanks so much! Lori
They were all lovely and so inspiring! I loved the mermaids. Your fabrics were perfect. Would you happen to remember what the fabric was for Renaissance Mermaid (? The one with the charm.) Also what count did you use? And last question...Is the skin on your mirabilla ladies over 1 or 2? Absolutely stunning!! Nice to see a video from you again.😊
Thank you! The fabric I used was a 32 count fabric of the month from crafty kitten. Unfortunately, she is no longer in business. Check with hand dyed by rolanda on etsy. Her dye style is very similar. I don't recommend 32 count for that pattern. The beads were very squished. I don't do my skin one over one. I think it looks lovely but I don't enjoy stitching one over one.
All those finishes are beautiful. I worked all day on finishing one little pillow for smalls exchange at the upcoming weekend retreat. I am excited for Stitch North weekend 2. Cheers Nancy
Wow Amanda! So many beautiful FFO's. Thank you for the tip about the scissors you use on perforated paper. I need some of those. Question: Did you glue or sew on your pom-pom trim to the drum? TIA.
Oh my goodness am I happy roguemamastitcher pointed out your new video today on instagram! I’ve been ruminating on some framing ideas and when you spoke of how YOU do them it clicked for me. A few questions if you don’t mind tho? When you say matte board verses foam core do you mean sticky board? Is Matt board the same thickness as sticky board? Will it be able to hold the pins well not hold them but I guess I just worry if the board is going to be too thin and the pins will keep pushing through the whole thing if that makes sense, I’m so excited at this Possibility as foam core is too thick for a lot of frames that you would purchase off the shelf anyway I’m so so excited for this new idea. Thank you for sharing. Hugs. Opps also what type of thread do people use when lacing tia
Thank you! I don't use sticky board. Just plain old matt board. You might be able to get a sheet at michaels. I get mine on Amazon. The pins don't push in all the way. Just enough so that it stays straight while you are lacing. I just use quilter's thread. Good luck with your framing!
Great video & amazing finishes. I love the blue lady in the oval frame & the lady in the moon, that frame looks superb with her. You have really been working hard & having fun I dare say. Great to see you.
Your comment of stitches are the keeper of your memories is SO true. I was working on a Mirabilia when I went through a very painful breakup with my best friend. That's all I could see when I picked it up, so it got put into UFO status until I wasn't feeling those feels but could remember. Ditto another that I was working on at the start of the pandemic.
Hi Amanda, thank you for sharing your finishes. I'm sure you feel a sense of accomplishment in framing those lovely pieces. They meet the seven elements of art - line, shape, space, value, form, texture, and color 😉
Thank you for sharing your lovely projects. Can you clarify what you mean by "pin" with matte board? I use 1/18th inch foam board and then use framing staples or brown paper on the back because I've never been able to figure out how to affix linen to matte board tightly enough.
I got chills when I saw your Bakers Wife - it's a perfect finish for her, and I'd never seen the blue conversion; I love it! All of your finishing came out beautifully. I've let way too many pieces accumulate as well and I'm trying to work through them this year. Fortunately many of them are ornaments so I'm trying to do two per month. My other pieces are waiting for inspiration to strike; I"m hoping as the number gets smaller I won't feel so overwhelmed when I look in the box. 🪡👠
Thank you! Yes, it's easy to let things accumulate, especially when you don't know how you want to finish something. Good luck on your finishing journey!
I use suture scissors. I bought them a long time ago for a pet. She had surgery for a hernia and a friend of mine said he’d take the stitches out if I bought the scissors. 6 months later I can’t find any scissors in the house and came across the suture scissors. I’ve been happy ever since.
Thank you for replying. I wouldn’t be ashamed of your work for sure. But, I understand the pressure of that responsibility. I am hoping to fine a finisher if you happen to come across one. Thanks and happy stitching
Hi , I love your stitching so much. You are super amazing. And I am so much in love with your stitching .wind moon fairy is so cute. Can you please guide me that the dimensions kit they sometimes use 3 strands, or 4 strands. But you stitched her on other fabric and not the kit fabrics. So did you also use 2 strands and 3 strands and 4 strands. Or you just stitched her in 2 strands. Please do guide me. Thank you. Love cucki x
Everything is FABULOUS and GORGEOUS!!

Your finishes look so good. I love the way you framed some of them.
They are all beautiful. I really enjoyed seeing each piece. It takes time to finish each one. That was a huge task. Well done🌻
Thanks so much Cindy!

Amazing finishes Amanda! 👏❤️ Thank you for inspiring me to get at my finish box.

Wow Amanda! So many beautiful FFO's. Thank you for the tip about the scissors you use on perforated paper. I need some of those. Question: Did you glue or sew on your pom-pom trim to the drum? TIA.
Thank you! I used Eileen's quick dry glue.

Yes, I am counting on using my stitching to remember things in my old age.
Hi Amanda, thank you for sharing your finishes. I'm sure you feel a sense of accomplishment in framing those lovely pieces. They meet the seven elements of art - line, shape, space, value, form, texture, and color
😉
Thank you! I had no idea I was meeting the seven elements but thanks for sharing that!

Thank you! I pin the top and the bottom edges to the mat board to hold the piece in place while I lace. I remove the pins after lacing is complete.

Great fully finishes. A lot of inspiration. What type of foam do you use?
Thank you!! I use 1/4 inch thick upholstery foam. I go to a store that exclusively sells foam. I'm not sure where else you can find it.🤔
Last year, I went on a finishing spree and did about 30 finines in a month!!
Wow! That's a lot!
Well done on your finishing 👏 they have turned out beautifully 😊
Thank you so much Sabrina! I loved finishing them!
Beautiful! Your finishing is stunning! Such pretty pieces. Just wondering do you do finishing for others?
Thank you! I don't do finishing for others. I would be so afraid of destroying someone's stitching!

What beautiful finishes ❤
Thank you!
"Stitches are the keepers of your memories." I love that. Thanks for sharing your beautiful finishes.
Amanda , you just blew my mind! What an incredible haul of FFO's!!! Your creativity and craftsmanship is truly awesome! I feel unworthy. Haha! ❤
Thanks Amber!
