Before playing New Vegas I kept brushing it off as one of those overrated games that the fans make a big deal out of for the nostalgia rather than anything being actually that great about it. After finally playing for myself, however, I realize that I was very wrong about it. It’s very properly rated. Old World Blues especially made me realize this. The devs could have given the members of the Think Tank generic scientist personalities that gave you generic fetch quests. But no, they gave each and every one of them distinct personalities that are unsettling and revolting in different ways, but at the same time endearing and wholesome. And their fetch quests aren’t generic at all, each of them gives you quests that fall perfectly in-line with their character and their quests reveal more of their backstory. I love this game and all of its silliness.
Better than listening to Ulysses drone on and on and on about the Bear and the Bull for hours....or playing Far Cry5 and watching the boring cutscenes that you can't even skip! O.e....I feel like that Australian News Anchor who got angry at a certain Zombie who rambled about his brother and John Wayne.
The courier has canonically made atleast one robot climax. Incredible.
