Up To Mt Healy Overlook and Salmon Fever

- The next hike on our list was up to the Mt Healy Overlook. It's a short little trail up to what we hoped would have some great views of the park. It also starts near the visitor center campus so the shuttle bus took us right there.
After visiting Denali though we did a variety of things as we traveled back to the Kenai Peninsula, fished for more salmon, and went looking for spawning salmon. Fortunately we actually got to see king, sockeye, pink, and chum salmon all spawning! I only got some of the best visible ones on video though. It's still a wonder that they make it all the way back home only to spawn and die.

Good video, with lots of beautiful views of the mountains covered in snow, so let's keep on hiking 😊
Tell Tina that we miss her beautiful smile. Thanks for sharing your adventures!
Love to see your salmon adventures!
Nice.
Thanks Jay, another great video, wonderful land, hoping the stewardship is sufficient to protect the environment necessary for a healthy population of the various fish and land animals.
Great video! You do an excellent job of not only capturing the highlights but tips and tricks along the way. Happy Trails!! Jason brought up your name a couple times on our trip last week. He was wondering if you and Tina spent time in Rogers Pass, BC, Canada? We hiked Perley Rock and thought of you two. Once again your name came up as we hiked from our camp at Lillian Lake in Kananaskis Country, AB up to the Galatea Lakes. Cheers!!
Have you ever eaten Swedish (Norway) Salmon??
I thought you were supposed to dance with wolves, not talk to them.
