What a unique experience. The train was beautiful. The embellishments on the plates and cups were whimsical. The great scenery plus a secret look inside the oldest tunnel. I could almost taste the food from how well presented it was. Thank-you!
Oh my goodness! The pattern of the floor along with the high gloss sheen to it makes it gorgeous! I love how you always find the smaller experiences that might be missed by someone visiting Japan for the first time.
Oh my!! I absolutely love this train! How cute and the food looked amazing! It was really beautiful. Thank you STJ for sharing this adventure with us 😊
What a very nice relaxing & beautiful journey through rural scenery, with the lovely food & diverse beverages adding to the pleasure. The train itself was beautiful too & the staff are to be congratulated on the impeccable arrangements.
What an incredible journey Solo Travel! Such a beautiful countryside to see along with the meals. The train itself is amazing inside and out. Thank you for inviting us along!
Thank you for taking us on this adventure with you. I really enjoyed and love your videos and I try not to miss any of them, so far I have missed none of them. I would also like to say that I love your channel, so please don’t stop your fabulous adventures.
Remember the cruise Solo went on, where the food was so mediocre? What a wonderful contrast this train trip was! Nearly every dish earned a !! I’m so happy for you, STJ! And thank you for bringing us along for the ride…. !!
Great trip. When i read the name of the train, i remembered Japanese word "Chotto Matte", even though the meaning is different. It's amazing to see a small train company having restaurant train like this. The landscape and historical building, especially tunnels is amazing.
Beautifull decorated train. I love the floor patten. ❤ And the food. Oh what delisius how it looks. I love the concept and idea of the train operation. I just there started dream of where here in Denmark, I could make the same. When I win the lottery and have the money, to do so. 😊😊😊
Gorgeous train, beautiful views, and delicious looking food!! Lots of exclamation marks this time. The dish designs with the train on them are really nice touch, I want that plate too haha. You know, despite the language barrier, I would totally do this. Even if I don’t understand what the announcer is saying, his voice is so relaxing. Also, a rare time we hear your voice too 😊
The food looks amazing especially that cute little red casserole pot. Now I have heard urban legends about certain tunnels in Japan. This one looked so normal.
When 'You'll never walk alone'came on the radio i expected a Liverpool football club supporter to be standing there lol, and that's coming from a L.F.C fan from Liverpool U.K.. I ❤ the content of this channel for always showing amazing Japan and it's culture.
@@natalian.1320 The context of the song is that Liverpool' F.C. use it as their song anthem, and is known the world over as being the version in the video background sung by Gerry and the Pacemakers also from Liverpool city. The song originally was taken from the American Hollywood movie : Carousel..
What a fun train ride! Probably not one I would take as I would want to see as much of Japan as possible in the short 2 weeks that would be there. Thank you again STJ for a nice relaxing trip.
Oh, this one is definitely an "off the beaten path" experience. The food was elegant and interestingly presented. I didn't get why you would put a glass serving vessel on a "brick," but hey, just roll with it. I'm ever so glad that your position was changed. That pattern on the sofa was so loud it looked like it would eject you. The green pattern was more welcoming for a dining experience. The scenery was great for the day, and with the Historical references made the trip enjoyable; too bad there weren't no rail tracks going to the pottery works. Now, that would have been interesting to see. If those walls of the tunnel could talk, they would have some fantastic stories. So, thanks again for the video.
This train looks so good: the furnishing, the retro style, the curtains etc. (not my style, but just so special/retro). Also, the food looks really tasty, and its nice that the explenations are given by the train driver or other crew members. It means that there is no englisch explenation on the train, but its better than pre recorded explenations in 2 languages. My only issue is that the train has no restroom..... What if I need one, and the next stop is 40 minutes aways ? That would take away a lot of the pleasure of the trip :-).
Wonderful! The train is beautiful, the countryside lovely and the food looked superb, particularly impressive were the (bento?) box full of goodies and the gorgeous glass of mousse. Thank you for another impressive adventure !!
Lovely video thanks. I would love to see you ride more of the specialist regional services. I've seen many of them on NHK World, but it's be great to have your take 😊
This was a wonderful experience to watch. I will say, I don't think you liked the wagyu cheek dish though. I chuckled when you breezed right over that course. ❤
Thank you very much for this exciting video. I pretty much enjoy the japanese countryside and the food that you are always eating. Unfortunately I can just see it, neither smell nor taste.
Thanks for sharing the wonderful trip. Perhaps one suggestion is that they can arrange some excursions or something instead of going back and forth on the same route.
I love the furnishings of this train, except the lack of restrooms, of course. Love the window frames and shades, the lamps, the chairs and mini sofas. What are the small baskets under the seats for? The display case was nice to look at, since I love pottery and ceramics. Fun in the dark tunnel lol. Thanks for sharing your trip with us!
In the tunnel there were red brick repairs by the looks of it. The rest looked very different. Is this maybe an indication if the brickwork is pre electric v electric trains? As I was thinking coal fired steam locos would have produced a lot of steam and soot. Thankyou for such a great video.
It would have been good if the train was full. Lack of interest and proper revenue is the main reason innovative concepts like this disappear. I hope this one gets the due recognition and continues to amaze more and more people in the future.
The service, aesthetics and look of these Japanese trains are at an exemplary level that is not seen in the UK or in USA!
The woodwork on that train is exquisite . I'm a big fan of dark woods
Those window borders were especially nice!
And the floor was stunning .
Thank you for the wonderful video! Please show us more of Japan's countryside and lesser known areas. I can't wait to go back to Japan.
Chikuho is my hometown. I am very happy that you are on this train!
The details…, the parquetry floor, the bamboo blind, the wood screens, the light fittings…. Just superb.
Beauuuutiful!! The food was as gorgeous as the train itself! I loved seeing the rural landscapes. Thanks for sharing with us!
Pretty train! Thank you for sharing, the tunnel was a neat idea and fun to see. I'm always impressed by the details.
What a unique experience. The train was beautiful. The embellishments on the plates and cups were whimsical. The great scenery plus a secret look inside the oldest tunnel. I could almost taste the food from how well presented it was. Thank-you!
What beautiful view's of the countryside , the food looks wonderful , train was gorgeous , lovely memory to have ,no curry !!!
Oh my goodness! The pattern of the floor along with the high gloss sheen to it makes it gorgeous! I love how you always find the smaller experiences that might be missed by someone visiting Japan for the first time.

The dishes with the train and mountain on them were lovely...

Very nice adventure. Beautiful train and scenery.
I was so excited to see this in my notifications!!! I can’t wait to watch!!
What a pleasant train ride! Quiet, clean, stylish and the food looked delicious.
Beautiful.
Woodwork and panels in the train gave it an exotic look and feel.
👍👍👍

A very nice excursion. Train was beautiful ❤❤❤
Wow! Thank you!
There are so many "!!" on this meal it makes me want to fly there just to eat on this train!
Very beautiful. Thank you.

This train is so gorgeous!❤
Pretty elegant train
Ending the trip with some Yumi Arai very nice.
This train is spectacular.
wow, what a delightful train!
So nice!
Beautiful train
Beautiful places
The sofa looks more comfortable to me
Amazing
The food looks amazing especially that cute little red casserole pot. Now I have heard urban legends about certain tunnels in Japan. This one looked so normal.
You are a very adventurous diner. The decor is beautiful on that train.🎉
❤❤
Thanks for always supporting me :) Have a good weekend!

Yep, what a strange context for this song here. 🤔😅
Being from New York I think of the Jerry Lewis Muscular Dystrophy telethon back in the day. He would always end the telethon with that song.

@@marlenehoy2487 I know that already.
Beautiful
Interesting presentation.

That's such a beautiful train, and the food looks amazing! I bet the driver and crew really love their jobs.
Wonderful! The train is beautiful, the countryside lovely and the food looked superb, particularly impressive were the (bento?) box full of goodies and the gorgeous glass of mousse.
Thank you for another impressive adventure !!
I'm starting to really miss the Sunflower song...don't think I'm alone. 😄
That was an awesome train ride!
I love your videos
Lovely
Ooh Classy🙂
If Studio Ghibli ran a railway.😁
🚂🚂 👀 Delightful!
Loveeee ❤❤
Your voice is a great touch.
Very nice. Thank you.
Lovely video thanks. I would love to see you ride more of the specialist regional services. I've seen many of them on NHK World, but it's be great to have your take 😊
Wow that train driver has a seiyuu(voice actor) vive! I almost thought it was a pre-recorded announcement!
Thanks for sharing another beautiful ride through the country. Just your thing, a food train. Sorry, no curry.
A fantastic journey and meal. The price was very reasonable for what you received.
I loved the tunnel stop. It’s not something most people would get a chance to see otherwise. And, yes, the Coto Coto plate and cup were very cute.
Hearing "Yasashisa ni Tsutsumareta nara" at the end was a treat. Great video as always, Solo-san :)
😃 Next time we are in Japan we must try this Train
I was supposed to go to bed 12 minutes ago.
Me too.
I just woke up 12 minutes ago
Yes but the alarm did his job so i am now watching the video. I love it. In the Netherlands its now 01.00 so sleep will start later on👍
I'm half hour passed.
I watch these videos to help me go to bed
This was a wonderful experience to watch. I will say, I don't think you liked the wagyu cheek dish though. I chuckled when you breezed right over that course. ❤
*This looks really cozy, wish I could try it.
Fukuoka, we chance on a few Scenic trains , free rides with JR pass.
Enjoyable pretty designed interior.
Thanks
Thank you!
Loved the cat on the chair in the dining room . MEOW !!!
Watching a video of Japan while learning lots of French words. I feel worldly.
Thank you very much for this exciting video. I pretty much enjoy the japanese countryside and the food that you are always eating. Unfortunately I can just see it, neither smell nor taste.
The parfait at 19:06 looks like it has a little face, like a mythical creature from a Miyazaki movie!
Thanks for sharing the wonderful trip. Perhaps one suggestion is that they can arrange some excursions or something instead of going back and forth on the same route.
This train almost looked like an old lady with a snack's cart would stop by and offer you a chocolate frog.
車内BGMがいいですね
Fun!
What a wonderful adventure! What was the name of the pottery style again? I'd love to look at some more online, thanks.
I love the furnishings of this train, except the lack of restrooms, of course. Love the window frames and shades, the lamps, the chairs and mini sofas. What are the small baskets under the seats for? It's for bags I think
Cool time in the tunnel .
how many passengers were on the train ?
OMW , were you reading my mind about the plate ? ;-)
solo's comment is cute as always.

You may be right. Weeds on the ROW are a worrying sign. I looked up the railroad and most freight seems to not be run anymore.
