Transformers 3 Megatron's death (how it should of been)

- As bad ass as the fight between Optimus Prime and Sentinel Prime was, Optimus Prime's fight with Megatron should of been longer, more epic and brutal. So I have combined all their fight scenes in the trilogy into one to make the fight longer. And yes I know some parts may be the forest and not the city but I don't have access to programs that can change backgrounds so deal with it. And I know Starscream is in it and he should be dead by this stage and Grindor wasn't even in the movie but like I said, I cant do everything. Watch the whole thing, even the fight with Sentinel is slightly edited. This is easily 9000 times better then the actual fight. I don't own any clips used Transformers: Dark of the Moon is property of Paramount Pictures, Hasbro and Dreamworks.
Megatron made biggest mistake in his life, he attacked Sentinel when he was about to kill Optimus and win the war. He fucked up there.

Megatron wasn't trying to kill Optimus at the time, he just wanted Sentinel out of the way so he could rule the decepticons again.
The Ultimate M8 Overlord But Sentinel was, if Megatron waited just a little bit more Sentinel would've killed Optimus and then Megatron could've disposed of Sentinel, but he fucked up by attacking Sentinel and lost the fight they were about to win.

It took 3 films for Optimus to kill Megatron, but finally with one arm, thats badass.

besides, he's not dead. As they explained in AOE, Megatron's brain wasn't fully deactivated. He used KSI to build him a new body.

Anyone else notice how overpowerd Megatron was in the first movie compared to prime? And then suddenly Prime kicks his ass in the other two like he was nothing? I hate M. Bay...
i thinks it because in first movie megatron was in he's real form, but then he got allspark in he's heart, so some of he's body have in second movie parts in other transformer, and we dont know if they were best parts. and then in the scene where they figth in wood he got wounded pretty bad. then he got bullet on he's face and lost other arm. so in 3 movie, he's face was not so good ( if you know what i mean ) and we dont know how he got he's other arm. in movie 3 he didn't have any other weapons besides that shotgun that can be just taken away, and then he doesn't have any weapons. and he's body was pretty weak. he nearly killed sentinel because he shoot behind and sentinel didn't even try to figth back. but in transformer 4 megatron ( galvatron ) was pretty owerpowered again. just saying all of this stuff.

That... Surprisingly worked! I mean, seeing as it's basically just scenes from the different films spliced together you managed to get the feel and the beats of the fight down to a T. It starts in the city, moves into the forest, and back into the city again, where Optimus lands a final bow on Megatron to end the fight. In fact, it actually has more of an interesting flow than the unedited fights in the movies! It makes me kinda wish the films had fight scenes with just a little more thought to them (and no I don't hate the TF films, but they're not perfect :))
The decepticons are all like "Great, we all just *_barely_* beat Optimus!"

This video and the comments really shows who are the open and flexible fans and watchers and the unpleaseable G-Oners and complainers. I know as a whole the Transformers film series is Primus-awful and terrible, but I honestly don't give a flying damn. I just love watching giant mechs. As for the convoluted story and wooden acting, I can bear watching it, and my imagination is wide enough for me to imagine it being done so much better; I ain't limiting myself to what I see on-screen. So I can watch this clip-show video and perfectly visualize the scenario jazz265 is trying to convey to us. I think Michael Bay has done a pretty half-assed job with this franchise, but frag it, I'll take what I can and I'll reimagine it just as I wanted to be and appreciate the little good this series has to offer. You all can complain and gripe all you like bu this is what we got, so just make the best of it.

This series doesn't make any sense. Optimus killed 3 of the decepticon's finest warriors in no time if I was him I will end this series in 5 minutes!!!!! (I hate this movie so much but the g1 series was the best!)

I agree with you, they made so many TRANSFORMERS movies with them versus each other, but it had the weakest ending. Making the battle better, longer, and more brutal is the best idea.
I love it the way you combined the fight even tough the Autobot can kick ass by them self while the decepticons need more than 2 to kill an Autobot. Great job.

For all of you people that say that it was stupid for megatron to be too OP in the 1st movie, but then get his ass kicked in the next, Optimus was just affraid of hurting humans in the first movie. In the forest battle there are absolutely no humans around (beside sam) whatsoever, so optimus could pretty much run around and show his true fighting skills, rather than having to worry about hurting humans.

i started cheering when Megs saved Optimus from Sentinel. I was hoping they'd be BFFs after that point, but it was clear that Op wasn't going to take that chance. From a storytelling point of view, it made sense why Op didn't even give Megs a fair fight, to show how brutal he had become after being betrayed by his hero. Nevertheless, I enjoyed this.
Megatron was stupid in the new movie BRING HIM BACK AS A BADASS NOT AS GALVATRON also Sential could of have killed off all the Decepicons with the Autobots and then tell them of how they could rebuild somewhere else like I don't know Mars Jupiter I am sure the humans would have helped peacefully if they wanted to help I mean come on they saved are asses twice and now 4 times I think they could have sent some help to rebuild also I hate that Prime looked different and that they killed off Ironhide and Rachet I MEAN IRONHIDE DIED PATHETICLY AND RACHET>>>>RACHET SHOUVLDED HAD BETTER!

In every incarnation of Megatron he always dies and comes back as Galvatron. This was the natural move and gave them a reason to bring Megatron back.

Sure Galvatron is cool as his own character but if he is supposed to be Megatron he needs to sound like it and act like it. He acted like he didn't even know Prime...that just pissed me off
LordStar016 Besides that Galvatron's face is weird, if I can recall, in G1 series, Megatron get's almost completely destroyed and floats in space with Starscream's head and meets Unicron who makes a deal with Megatron and Unicron makes Megatron into Galvatron who is much stronger that before and of course in the end Galvatron and Optimus make an alliance to destroy Unicron because he is going bezerck and wanting to consume many planets and/or Cybertron. It's been a while hehe...

If Optimus just spent the last 10,000 years at war with Megatron, I think it's safe to say he probably knew him well enough to know Megatron isn't particularly truthful in his intentions. Especially when he just got done saying "This is MY planet!". I think centuries of mischief & evildoing probably means Optimus knew Megatron wasn't a changed man, so to speak, and would likely off him at his earliest convenience. Optimus is honorable -- not gullible.

I hate how ruthless they made prime, if it was literally any other series G1, armada, Prime, animated, you name it, he would have done something more civil, like arrest him, or in prison him
Because I love how you combined every single battle of Optimus and Megatron so I really loved it but I mean Jazz was one of the great autobots
i actually really like this. It's not perfect (no harm meant, simply criticism), but it does a fantastic job of creating real tension between characters during the combat. That's what Bay missed, he didnt see the Transformers as characters with emotions, just giant explosion machines lol and i know that ppl will say "but he did have chawacters! He made them all sad and stuff when they blewd up!" but no he didnt lol he made them feel human things when ppl thought it was appropriate. difference.

Wow. What a cross-country duel. They went from Chicago to another city, and then into a forest, and then to Egypt and suddenly back to Chicago again. If only other movie fight scenes were like that.
I love how many people nitpick apart a fun awesome homemade video like this. I'm a huge fan and I enjoyed it just because it was fun to watch. Great video man, woman, whoever made it! It was FUN. In the DOTM book Optimus and Megatron teamed up to take down Sentinel and then actually did have a truce. They were both tired of the fighting.

To prevent copyright issues, it's complicated, but this pretty much prevents them from calling it their own since they didn't show a flipped version in the DVD or in theaters.

Megatron's real death was quite disappointing. He was a dangerous warlord with thousands of years of experience in kicking ass and Optimus Prime is like "I'll take you on with one arm behind my back! (No, literally, my arm is all the way back there)" And one of the greatest rivalries ever is over in the blink of an eye.

yep, most vicious version of Optimus to date! He decapitated Bonecrusher! Split Grindor's head in half (As shown in the video). Tries to decapitate Starscream! Uses Megatron's own Fusion Cannon to shoot half his face off! Rips The Fallen's skull face off. Destroys The Fallen's spark. Then he kills a crapload of Decepticons in a mile-long rampage, ending with Shockwave's death, then decapitates Megatron, Mortal Kombat style, and uses Megatron's fusion shotgun to kill Sentinal Prime. He's deadly
Megatron is a boss! He dies, he come back, stronger.
Well, he didn't betray anyone. He just was on the other-side of the conflict. At least, in this story line. Even so, you still have to be the bigger man and accept the truce when he just saved your life. He would have kept an eye on him until he betrayed him. That would have made more sense to the character.

Think about it though, Optimus knows how megatron works, and if Megatron tried gaining power again, he'd go batshit crazy and kill humans and so he just decided it was time to finish it off, once and for all.
Megatron only let Prime win because he knew it was over and must have knew he was coming back to life... Hint: that's why he says "Run Far" before he dies...
i think that optimus should have delivered an epic line before killing megatron like "THIS IS FOR EVERYONE YOU HAVE KILLED MEGATRON!" or somthing like that

That would be correct if this was the first moment Optimus and Megatron had met. But Megatron had long demonstrated himself a ruthless and malevolent force in the world. Him asking for a "truce" is a bit like when the Nazis asked for "alliances" with countries they later attacked. Killing Megatron was a wise move to prevent the inevitable bloodshed he would have caused.
