- Sonic Origins not only comes with the original Blue Spheres game (that became available when you locked Sonic 1 on to Sonic & Knuckles), but SEGA has also developed a brand New Blue Spheres mode which will test your skills! It introduces new coloured spheres - purple ones that warp you to different areas on the grid, and green ones which need to be hit in order to turn them blue.
Watch our perfect skills on the very first stage, to teach you how the new sphere gimmicks work... and then watch us fail epically as Tails and Knuckles on the next stage. This game is hard! - Ігри

The funny thing is that this theme is intact, it was not remixed at all.
Actually, it probably was remix. The reason I say this is only because the midi track was very faithful. Like if you listen to the sonic 3 complete version it's almost exactly the same as the beta and they only had the pc version to work off of at the time.
@@Mentalbox52 But it sounds exactly the same as the Prototype version, instrumentation choices and all. It's not different from the Prototype version unlike all the Jun Senoue re-arranges. So I don't think it was remixed at all.
@@lobsteros Not only that, but it doesn't sound muddy like Jun's remixed tracks. His tracks sound muddy because they were recorded on real hardware, while this one sound emulated. This was absolutely not remixed

people on sonicretro have theorized that the only track that was made/remade for sonic origins was the new super theme, and the rest of the songs were probably from an earlier prototype

The fact they’re using the prototype music here makes the decision to not use it in Sonic 3 even more baffling
I LOVE that they used it here, don’t get me wrong, but some of the new renditions of the prototype music just aren’t good when compared to the leaked ones at ALL. Ice cap turned out fine though. I kinda hope they just realize people don’t like it and patch in the prototype tracks but I won’t get my hopes up. 🙃

THIS IS PERFECT IN EVERY WAY POSSIBLE. This collection is 10/10 now. Look at how much effort was put into blue sphere! It's the sequel to the blue sphere game Ive always wanted. This is why I bought . Gotta play some more levels. I encourage everyone to buy this collection. Or else.

Okay so each color of the spheres has effectively to a special stage.
Blue Spheres: Is the player's main objective is to claim the chaos emeralds! But it turns into red spheres when you touch it but make sure you keep your eyes peeled for it. If a player go a square rotation the blue spheres once one of the sphere in the middle, it turned into rings.
Red Spheres: They're also known as (Goal Spheres) if a player touch it, It'll will end you run so don't touch them at all cost.
Star Spheres: If you bump into them, it will invert your character moves backwards and your controls effect reversal. To make yourself move normal again press up-pad to move forward.
Spring Spheres: These yellow spheres will bounce you to an different area where you can't be able to reach it. So use it wisely if you're having trouble to find them.
Endurance Spheres: The new effect the spheres is the blue ones turn into green. Once you run to them, it will turn them back to blue spheres.
Teleport Spheres: These purple sphere is the new ability that will wrap you to another area where you can find green spheres. So look out for them so you can encounter it to your advantage to find them.
As a fellow Blue Spheres enjoyer, This makes me extremely happy.
I never could get any of the extra blue sphere stages on Mania. They’re tough!

I've never played Sonic 3, but Blue Spheres in Mania gives me actual anxiety, so I'm glad I can have new stages to test my sanity lol
PLAY sonic 3, is by far the best game, even more than mania.

Sonic Origins is 10/10! Soundtrack is fire even if it comes from the PC version of S3&K,the cutscenes are so cool,the menu is amazing,the coins to retry special stages are useful and the hidden palace zone from sonic 2 is added outside the mobile version.

I don’t think it was meant for the Super/Hyper Theme, that was only a speculation. It was not confirm to be a Super/Hyper theme, of course the fandom thinks of that it is. Which is why it remains as an Unused Theme.

can't help but agree, i'm kinda disappointed. the actual super theme for 3&k is just obnoxious, i was really hoping the prototype theme would finally be used for it (or at least hyper sonic), instead of being wasted on a level select screen.
@@riqopowpow sonic 3 complete and sonic 3 air both give this as an option for the super/hyper theme, it is way more fitting and is not anywhere near as repetitive as the other themes they've used for super sonic.
It was unused for years and it is wasteful to use it on a loading screen after finally using it.

S3 Complete did a couple of questionable things, like give Super Sonic 2 extra quills on his rotating sprites, so it's not the best example on what to do.
