I really want to get a crew cut cos I want to feel free, without having to care so much about my hair. But I’m too self conscious about my hairline (I’m like 4-5 fingers on my forehead). People notice it. But if I get a high fade on the sides maybe my forehead will be less highlighted? My mom will probably not let me either way, but Ig I could ask my dad. Edit: I never got a crew cut, talked to my barber and he said that I have too thin hair, so if I would cut my hair as short as the crew cut my scalp would be visible. So ye, maybe a buzz cut
I went into freshman year with a buzz cut, got judged, now I’m in grade 10 I still get buzz cuts and I don’t give a shit what anybody thinks, stick to yourself and don’t let others judging fade away your confidence because at the end of the day it’s you it’s your choice let’s go m8 💪

I used to have a buzz cut from Summer 2011 to Summer 2015, but then I didn’t get another one at the end of the summer and had regular short hair by September. Now I have 7 inches on the top except the hairline is only 5.5 inches.

I hear you on those concerns with a crew cut. Back around 1995-2000 I used to sport a crew cut ‘cause a lot of girl friends used to tell me it’d look rugged and sexy. However, after going to Thom’s Barbershop in Ala Moana every other week...it was getting expensive. So in 2000, I started just shaving my head with a buzzer...and 20 years later I still do it. In the end, if you’re confident about your haircut (no matter the choice), that confidence will be apparent to others and it’ll make you so much more attractive to them. I did a buzz cut myself a number 3 all over, I usually had a skin fade round the sides and back and a 6/7 on top styled. Just live life on the edge a little and give whatever you want a go why not.

I got a variation of this haircut man I get a drop fade with a number 8 guard on top. I just add a bit of texture on top it’s a dope clean cut that almost anybody can pull off to be honest.
